The bumper was clear as the picture shows, but over time it turns yellow. However, I swim in a pool regularly so I'm not sure if the yellowing occurs with all bumpers or just the ones exposed to chlorine.

You can tell that the bumper is on there just like a clear phone case. If you like showing off the rose gold, stick with clear. Screen protector has a black trim around the edge but blends with the screen.

Yes, it is totally clear. I have found out that it needs to be removed and cleaned. The Best Buy tech suggested once a month and that works for me. The bumper is easy to remove. I Googled and found a short, precise video to teach owners how to remove.

The screen cover is clear with a thin black frame along the outside and the bumper is clear with some texture and will eventually get dirty.
