• Yes you can set up multiple cameras on the smartphone app. (Our newest and best phone app is simply called "Zmodo".) This camera is not outdoor rated. If it is under a covered patio and not getting wet ever, it should be ok, but at the same time we can not recommend using it for outdoors.

• Yes I have mine installed on our patio and yes you can use the same app with several cameras, as the app will ask you to name each device.
