It doesnt take up that much space. You can also tell it when and when not to alert you. It will still record regardless.

It won't the phone will only hold 24 hours of surveillance, unless you pay for a subscription. Everyday yesterdays video is deleted. There is not a great picture at night, it is very hard to see.

Your ram is not effected until you open the app and looknat the motion recordings or look atbthe live stream. Then once you close the app the motion recordings go away onnyour phone. They recorded to the doorbell not the phone or tablet.
