    Bought for the 4 LAN ports on the back so I could hard wire 3 external devices. When I hooked them up, it didn't work. I called their customer service tech support and was told those LANs are not for hard wiring devices. Wish it said this in the specs.

    My old Netgear had started giving connectivity issues, so I upgraded to this modem. I'm using Google Nest router and connectivity is very good and no speed or disconnection issues. However, I cannot connect another device to the modem. Basically all my wall ethernet ports are dead. I tried resetting it a few times and reached out to xfinity but no luck. Apparently there is an issue with Netgear modems when Nest routers are used. Expected a better product for $200
