Posted .With all washers, some level of noise is normal. However, it is important to level your washer as it prevents the washer from excessive vibration when in use. When leveling a washer, make sure to level both front to back and side to side by adjusting the four leveling legs. Also note that the more the legs are extended, the shakier the washer will be during operation. -- We recommend checking out the “Sounds” section on page 28 of your Owner’s Manual for descriptions of noises you can expect with this model. The Owner’s Manual can be viewed at the bottom of the Features tab on the Best Buy product page. -- If your washer is making abnormal noises, we recommend scheduling service online by visiting the GE Appliances website or by calling 1-800-432-2737.

Happy with the purchase replacing a previous washer that died after 6 years (the old one wasn’t GE) it could be easier to use the connected app for starting loads remotely if you’ve already loaded the washer.

Clothes smells clean the spin cycle is great clothes almost as dry some of them I just hang up and dryw right away. I will definitely purchase the same brand dryer when it's time to replace my old dryer.

There are so many things wrong with it. It doesn't agitate the clothes well enough. My clothes never smell clean. I use more water and more soap than my old washer. And it is so loud! There is a power surge every time the the impeller changes directions. (My electrical panel is up to date). Please do not buy this washer!

We recommend making sure you are loading your items evenly and loosely around the outside of the basket, filling in towards the center on larger loads. This will make sure that the unit stays in balance. You can find additional information on the article titled "Top Load Washer - Wet Clothes Concerns" on the GE Appliances website.
To help with your clothing smell, we recommend using High Efficiency detergents such as Tide PODS™ and liquid detergents while following the instructions labeled on the packaging. High Efficiency detergents are formulated to work with low water wash and rinse systems.

Most large comforters and blankets will wash properly in our washers, as long as the comforter fits below the balance ring of the washer tub and is not stuffed in the tub tightly.
