We are sorry that the incorrect washer was delivered and the washer pan was broken. We strongly advise contacting your retailer directly, as we are confident that they will get these issues resolved.

Your new washer may sound different from your prior unit because of the newer technology. Clicks, water flowing, gear sounds followed by pauses, and electric hum sounds are all part of the normal wash cycle.

This is a high-efficiency washing machine which requires less water while providing effective cleaning action. You may notice that the water level is lower than on your previous washer and may not cover the top level of the clothes. This is normal. -- To improve wash performance, use the correct amount and type of detergent, load carefully, and select the right amount of water and settings for your load size. Keep the lid closed during the wash cycle. For more helpful tips, see the article titled “Washer - Clothes Not Cleaning Well” on our GE Appliances website.

We're thrilled to hear you're enjoying this washer's easier access capacity that allows you to enjoy the large 5.0 cu. ft. capacity while still being able to easily reach the bottom of the washer. Thanks so much for your purchase. This is a really nice washer, and we want you to be happy with your washing results. We recommend trying the Power Clean cycle along with Deep Fill and Deep Rinse to see if that helps. Our new washers do sound different than older washers. You'll hear clicks, water flowing, gear sounds followed by pauses, and electric hum sounds. If you view the manual on page 24, you'll see a QR code that you can scan to hear all the different sounds that are normal.
