Useless Service Makes You Wait Instead of Exchange

We contacted Geek Squad, figuring we could bring it in for a replacement (like all other electronics). Instead, Geek Squad said Best Buy wouldn't do that and we had to wait 11 days for an in-home repair. Within six days, our TV was completely dead. Now we're stuck here, with no TV for five days, when instead they could have just replaced the TV at the store almost a week ago. Some "protection" service this is! More like a protection racket!

Warranty is pointless

They double dip on the warranty you are actually purchasing a warranty that runs from the purchase date (along with the manufacture warranty) which is re done dit....Therefore you only have 2 yrs warranty not manurfacture warranty plus an additional 2 years.

Samsung is a good product. Had some of my devices for years. I plan to buy another Samsung TV and will not add the protection no matter how much they pressure me...

If you have not already, we do recommend providing this feedback directly to the store management team as well. The store number can be found at the top of your Best Buy receipt.

Joke of a warranty

Had a problem when I purchase home office I mistakenly deleted the install email when I call geek square to resent the email they wouldn’t due to membership expiring and indicated just to resend email I had to re-purchase membership. So I informed them to refund my money for the purchase of office home and brought it from Amazon instead.

2 Yr Warranty NOT Honored the Day After Expiration
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought a 55" TV and I purchased a 2 year EXTENDED WARRANTY with the purchase. The TV literally failed about 10PM on the day the last day of the warranty, 2 years later. I promptly called the next morning and NO, they WOULD NOT HONOR THE WARRANTY. In the past two years, I having bought two iMac's, two monitors, this TV and I have annually renewing subscriptions through BestBuy, I will change where I make purchases and cancel my renewing subscriptions.

5 year warranty

The sales associate said this would cover accidental damage on a tv but it doesn’t so don’t buy this coverage for a tv. Best Buy doesn’t cover accidental damage for tvs. They did give me my money back luckily for this plan but don’t waste the money on this. It’s just not worth it
