TV started to have discoloration after only a year and a half. We contacted Geek Squad, figuring we could bring it in for a replacement (like all other electronics). Instead, Geek Squad said Best Buy wouldn't do that and we had to wait 11 days for an in-home repair. Within six days, our TV was completely dead. Now we're stuck here, with no TV for five days, when instead they could have just replaced the TV at the store almost a week ago. Some "protection" service this is! More like a protection racket!

Warranty you purchase is not in addition to the 1 yr manuracture warranty. They double dip on the warranty you are actually purchasing a warranty that runs from the purchase date (along with the manufacture warranty) which is re done dit....Therefore you only have 2 yrs warranty not manurfacture warranty plus an additional 2 years.

I got the protection just in case something happened to my TV.

I guess this is a good purchase but I instantly regret it after. Got suckered by the sales person. Samsung is a good product. Had some of my devices for years. I plan to buy another Samsung TV and will not add the protection no matter how much they pressure me...

This extended warranty covers nothing, basically. It is just a pure waste of money.

It's a good idea to have a extra A5 year warranty on the set

Really never had to use it just the initial time when purchased it. Had a problem when I purchase home office I mistakenly deleted the install email when I call geek square to resent the email they wouldn’t due to membership expiring and indicated just to resend email I had to re-purchase membership. So I informed them to refund my money for the purchase of office home and brought it from Amazon instead.

Average Geek Squad job- had to make return trip to correct a problem

I haven't used it yet but I have it just in case my t.v. goes out.

I Hooper it works for me and gives me a new tv or fix it promptly

Not sure Havnt had to use it yet. I am sure when I need it it will be fine.

It was fine. It won't change your world, but it works.

I try the service but they have some difficult people to work with

I bought a 55" TV and I purchased a 2 year EXTENDED WARRANTY with the purchase. The TV literally failed about 10PM on the day the last day of the warranty, 2 years later. I promptly called the next morning and NO, they WOULD NOT HONOR THE WARRANTY. In the past two years, I having bought two iMac's, two monitors, this TV and I have annually renewing subscriptions through BestBuy, I will change where I make purchases and cancel my renewing subscriptions.

If anything goes wrong god forbid I know I have geeek squad

I love Samsung product they're very durable very satusfie thanks .

It's overpriced but since TVs only last a few years nowadays, this feels necessary. Thanks planned obsolescence.

Does not cover appliances that were previously purchased. Even though service was purchased when appliance was purchased.

The 5 year plan doesn’t cover much unless something goes wrong mechanically with the tv. The sales associate said this would cover accidental damage on a tv but it doesn’t so don’t buy this coverage for a tv. Best Buy doesn’t cover accidental damage for tvs. They did give me my money back luckily for this plan but don’t waste the money on this. It’s just not worth it

Does not really work that well all things considered. For $100 its a joke
