Have purchased SOOOO much from Best Buy over the past 20+ years - Sadly, this computer tech pkg turned out to be a waste/rip off. Best Buy in Savi Ranch/Yorba Linda, CA promised to extend our plan when COVID hit and we could not get the tech services we had paid for. And without naming the gentleman/Mgr who promised us to make things right, but never bothered to follow through on anything he said to us, nor replied/responded to our calls/texts, we never were able to take advantage of our Geek Squad contract, and never heard back from the Mgr and/or Best Buy again. They just took our money and ran! Haven't purchased anything from Best Buy since!

The protection plan is well worth the price when something goes wrong

If you can even get them to actually fix (warranty) your covered product. The washer started acting up a balance issue, and took off across the room. Called for an apt. 3rd party tech came out and DID NOT fix the problem. Repeat the process again. 3rd party tech came out and repaired a leg. OMG What? I spoke directly with Samsung and they verified that the leg was not the issue. Repeat the process the third time. Apt cancelled. Repeat the same process. Apt cancelled. Elevated to priority status. No luck after 3 weeks...Threatened litigation in small claims court. To no avail. Went to the local store and they exchanged refunded the faulty washer with a new one. They drag out this process for weeks and in the mean time when and where are we supposed to wash clothes? One option is just buy another washer and keep on returning the washers until they replaced yours. The return policy is 14 days. So purchase and return and purchase again and return and they will loose money and you will be able to wash your clothes until fixed!
