PURCHASED A TV END IF APRIL. RETURNED FROM A VACATION MID MAY AND IT LOOKED AS IF THE TV SHATTERED ON THE INSIDE. TOOK THE ITEM TO THE HARRISONBURG VA LOCATION AND THE "GENTLEMAN" AT THE GEEK SQUAD DESK WAS RIDICULOUSLY CONDESCENDING AND RUDE. I TOLD HIM THAT MY SON TURNED IT ON WHEN HE RETURNED FROM VACATION ANS IT LOOKED AS IF IT WAS SHATTERED ON THE INSIDE. HE SAOD SHATTERED SCREENS ARE NOT COVERED AND LOOKED BACK DOWN AT HIS PHONE. I ASKED WHAT COULD BE DONE TO REPLACE IT WOTH THE GEEK SQUAD 5 YEAR WARRANTY... HIS REPLY WAS... YOU COULD RECYCLE IT AND GAVE A HALF SMUG SMILE. WHAT IS THE POINT OF GEEK SQUAD IF THEY ACT LIKE GARBAGE. CUSTOMER LOST.

I purchased a two-year protection plan to cover my 58 inch Sharp Roku TV. The screen went black on the tv, I placed an order for repair on a Wednesday and they scheduled a repair for Friday of the same week. It is now Wednesday of the next week and my tv is still broken. NO ONE from Best Buy or the third party vendor has reached out to me I have to call them every day to get updates which give me little to no hope that my tv will ever get repaired. I feel like I'm being jerked around! What good is a protection plan when it takes forever to get service. I never thought I would write a review like this. Buyer Beware.....think twice before saying YES to the additional protection. It's just an additional headache!!!

Love the tv but the remote is for a four year old.

I've always been treated fairly by Best buy on my plans.

Can't truly rate this since I haven't had to use it but the price was reasonable. My last 2 TV's (different brand) the sound went out within 2 years so, I wanted the protection.

I havent have a chance to use it! But i hope that if i do need to use it, they act immediately and without any issues. So far, I havent have a problem with Best Buy, so i hope they continue to keep up the good work.

YOU NEED A GOOD BACKUP PLAN AND THIS ONE IS WORTH IT
