David installed my new universal remote and it works really well. My new 4K Smart TV is connected to my stereo rack system which is old and everything works! The only thing that doesn't work is my streaming TV. When I tried to update the flash player I got an error saying the file was not compatible with Comcast Xfinity. David used his Linux laptop when setting everything up and apparently Linux isn't compatible with Comcast Xfinity streaming programs. I can watch Xfinity streaming programs on my Windows 10 laptop, but not on my TV. I have to contact Geek Squad again so that I can get this corrected.

The Geek Squad guys installed several new components and the recommendation was to utilize the Harmony Elite remote. Having used previous versions of Harmony remotes, I understood the set up required to make these things work and work well. This programming was well worth the investment. The first use of the remote to watch a movie in the new home theater proved that. So effortless to watch a movie, watch TV or listen to music. Right there on the screen. Thanks Geek agent Chris!

the agent was outstanding. The synchronization problem was complex and he knew what to do. I had tried on my own to link my Google home with the device known as a harmony hub. The latter connects to my Comcast box and converts a voice command into and infrared signal to function as a verbal remote control. It is almoost possible to do without expert knowledge. I would highly recommend my technician for any duel service requirements.

After the installer finished his work my receiver and harmony remote works so well together and everything is so much simpler and user friendly now.

Remote was set up for our tv. They did a great job

The agent observed all CDC COVID-19 guidelines, was pleasant, efficient, professional, and personable. Our appointment was scheduled for anytime between 1:00 pm and 8:00 pm. He called at 12:45 pm to let us know he about 10 minutes away. The service agent took his time when explaining how the new multi-function remote worked and how to access our five components. I'm chagrined that I did not write down his name for this review. I typically do not complete automated reviews.

Simon Baldwin did a fantastic job for me. He fine-tuned my new 55" TV and audio setup, adjusted how my TiVo and Blue-ray were connected to my new receiver, and programmed my Harmony to control my entire video/audio systems. My TV stand is solid wood with equipment behind closed doors. It is so nice to be able to operate everything without having to open the doors. Simon ran into some problems getting my TiVo synched-up with my Harmony, but he kept at it until the results were flawless. This experience has been terrific, and how to operate, maintain, and enhance my new systems was explained to me completely.

The remote works well, and the recognition was great by showing me how to use it. The only negative comment I have about it is I doesn't completely eliminate the need for several of my other remotes. I may be doing something wrong, I'm not sure, but I find that in order to access my smart TV and the apps on it, or my DVD, I still need to use the DVD remote. Otherwise it is great in replacing my other four remotes. As I said, I may be doing something wrong, so if I can't figure it out soon, I will reach out to the Geek Squad for further assistance.

Easy and quick setup by the geeks. The harmony remote runs our Samsung plasma, Pioneer Elite receiver and Blu-ray and our Direct TV. Great remote and set-up for the money!!!

Awesome - the remote can be tricky as there are a fee different ways to program it for the components that you have. This is my second Harmony remote - this time I decided to ask Geek Squad to come hy and program it. They did a great job! I can edit the programming on my own going forward, but very happy that the pros came by to set it up out of the box. Programming service is half price for Total Tech Support members. Thanks again Geek Squad!

When we purchased the Sony Receiver, we thought we could install it ourselves. However, there was no way that we would be able to re-program our fancy remote control that works with all of our equipment. The installer not only hooked up the receiver and adjusted the levels properly for the best sound, he also re-programmed our remote to work with our existing equipment, the new receiver, but he also added the Roku so that we no longer had to use yet another remote control. It was definitely worth the installation charge to improve our products and avoid hours of frustration.

This is the second time the geek squad has come to my home the first time they let me know that it was my amp that was having issues and that I needed to send it in for repair, the same gentleman came back and put everything back together installed re-wired organized was the cleanest most polite and professional person I’ve ever had work in my home here in Charleston in the last 20 years Bravo congratulations don’t let this guy get awayFrom you and maybe even give him a raise :-)

the remote was setup to access both DirecTV and the smart TV functions. works great, easy to use. everything was explained and checked before leaving

The agents installed my universal remote. They were onetime, professional, and trained me on how to use the remote once completed.

My previous Harmony remote was 5 years old, functional, but decided to replace it as several functions were losing their effectiveness. The Geek Squad agent programmed all the components onto the Harmony Remote including the TV, amp, CD player, computer and listen to music. Works well, switches easily. When I get stuck I press the help setting and it corrects itself rather quickly. No issues, upgrade from previous model.

This is a very smart and easy to use remote control that enables the turning on and off of my Samsung Smart TV, Samsung Sound Bar and Sub Woofer and Comcast HD box.

We called up the Geek Squad to reprogram our Harmony Remote control since we purchased a new TV and we were having some issues. He came on time as matter fact we recognized the tech from previous visits. He did a great job of fixing it the way we wanted and even went as far as letting the ISP cable remote work along side the Harmony. That is why i call the Geek squad up, professional courteous and extremely knowledgeable in what they do.

The agent reprogrammed my tv to receive my streaming channels which had been lost during a storm.

They arrived on time wearing masks and were able to install our recently purchased roku onto our universal remote purchased at best buy 4 years ago. They only lost a star because they had to call central office to ask them how to install the roku on this device.I felt they should have that knowledge already so it took longer than I anticipated which was tough during Covid. Geek Squad were friendly, and helpful! Roku works great on the universal remote.
