It is fast have a good video card however it does not have liquid cooling, sometimes under long sessions the Psu does a loud fan noise , the video card is only 1 stick of 16 gb so is not dual channel and they run only at 2133 MHz not 2400 this is an ok desktop I won't say a gaming one however it will play most games 1920x1080 no problem

Fast processor, no lag at all when gaming. Love the lighting on the side too, very cool look but outstanding performance.

This unit is very fast and looks great. Worked perfectly for 8 days. Then would not turn on. Contacted Dell and they sent tech to the house and he fixed the problem at no charge. The only complaint is there is only one hdmi outlet on the back. Had to buy an adapter to connect to the video card for adddition hdmi. Look for a different model that has more than one hdmi outlet.

Works great with the Oculus Rift. Very fast. Simple to add another harddrive for additional storage.

Works really fast. My gaming looks so real. The programs are easy to find and light weight.

Fans are quiet even with graphics set to max. Boots fast. Plenty of hard drive space.

I bought this system because I wanted a powerful gaming rig, that could play anything on the market. It's done that flawlessly. I've pushed Battlefield 1's setting to Ultra, and the fans still aren't as loud as they were in my old HP system. And there's been no issues with overheating, either. I can't find anything negative to say about it. This system rocks, especially considering the price.

This is a good performer but after hooking it up and putting it through it's paces, it reboots often in the afternoon. Tech could not duplicate the problem but it continued for 9 months. I upgraded to Windows 10 Pro and no more reboots. The windows do resize and move when it goes to sleep but I can live with that.

Great computer for the price plays all my games at max except like 2

I bought this for both doing my freelance programming work (Unity3d, virtual machines, web dev) and for using with oculus rift and they work great for both. have noticed a few downsides though 1-Occasionally will reboot itself after waking it up from being in sleep mode for a while 2-Doesn't have as many HDMI ports as id like Otherwise a really good high powered machine

I bought this for work (I am a programmer), with a little gaming on the side. I also bought the Rift, since that was discounted when I purchased this PC. Overall, it performs well, I haven't had any serious issues. I have seen it randomly shut itself off more than once, which is a bit annoying, so I gave it 4 stars.

The is a hard-core gaming rig. I have yet to push it to it's capacity. With the 256GB SSD as the boot drive, the system comes up fast. Too bad it's a little small. So I end up installing most apps on the 7200 RPM 1TB drive (which too is a bit small). But the machine has two spare compartments for additional HD. The NVIDIA GTX 1070 is a sweet graphics card. For older games like Mass Effect 3, Cities Skylines, Simcity, Battlefield, Mechwarrior Online, etc they just run ultra smooth. Can't wait to try our Elite Dangerous on this machine. I can even wait two HD videos without any lag on either video. I had some reservations about ordering the Aurora R5 from Best Buy vs Dell since there was little customization options available. I wasn't if the unit came with a single 16GB DIMM or 2x8GB DIMM (mine came with single DIMM - sweet!). The package did come with the "cheap" alienware keyboard and mouse (it's optional on the Dell site). Some reviews complained about the fan noise. Frankly, mine is very quiet. Overall, I'm very pleased with the system. It has plenty of expandability.

Powerful computer. Was an upgrade from a three year old Alienware Gaming laptop.Runs every game I play at top settings and never misses a beat. Some have complained about Fan noise, but i haven't had a program yet that stressed it enough for the fans to rev up to noisy levels,

The Aurora R5 is working so good for me doing the job for my gaming and photoshop and school, I love gaming alot , it runs Quake Champions smoothly and League Of Legends and also War Thunder, This computer is not the fastest out but its really fast to keep up with some of the great games out there.

Great looking system that performs as it should. I would have liked to see a larger ssd, but considering the price range, it's still a good bargain for those who are looking to buy a prebuilt system.

If you are new to gaming or a bit of a graphics snob, I recommend this. I purchased it for my husband for Christmas. He has been obsessed with building mods and running everything. The key board and mouse are not great. You would want to upgrade these quickly.

Bought this for my daughter to do homework on, as well as do gaming and Virtual Reality gaming. Easy to set up, super fast, and is wonderful to use! Love the Alien wallpaper on the screen, too.
