Apple seems to do it right with any given device. Set up is extremely easy and range is exceptional. Ability to connect multiple devices at once without signal drop. Blazing fast with the Motorola Surfboard 6141 modem.

My wife and I are gamers (Xbox 360, PS3, Steam) and apple owners (iPads, iPhones, Macbook Pros). I have never encountered a router like this that is so convenient, polished, and easy to use. I'm a Web Professional and this router (as with most apple products) is a breath of fresh air aesthetically and is extremely user friendly. When is the last time you actually enjoyed managing your router? No more router management via web browser. Apple, as usual, has raised the bar with a convenient and well designed app for your apple devices. Not only did I set up a hidden and guest network with my ipad, I later tweaked passwords and more with just my iPhone!!! All devices - apple or non-apple - easily connect with no issues. I performed speed tests all over the house and WiFi performance is nearly double my previous 2.4 Ghz router. My hard lined PS3 is actually connecting even better. Netflix over hard lined Xbox 360 ALWAYS streams HQ HD (vs grainy quality starting out that eventually buffers to HD). Online games perform very well with no performance issues. Friends connect to the guest network no problem. I'm constantly showing off the capabilities of this router to my tech friends and they're blown away! It's price point is easily comparable to other high end routers in the $200 price range. Do yourself a favor and pick up this gloriously designed router.

I've used this router for over a year. It works great. As with most Apple products. Set up was easy. I have an Airport Express connected so that it is a bridge. Also was able to set up a guest network so people can come to the office and not be connected to my internal network.

I have a 3200 sq ft single story home. I have had trouble with getting a strong signal with other routers over the years. This Apple wifi set up took only 5 minutes and all my devices connect perfect with great signals.

As an audio/visual contractor, I use the Apple Extreme almost on a daily basis. Great signal strength, and simple to extend to other parts of the house/apartments. Also, I uses Sonos on every job and the Extreme works with Sonos very well - probably the best router for that.

Very easy to install especially using a MacBook. I used two of these Base Stations to extend Wi-Fi out to my workshop by placing one in the house and one in the workshop about 100 yards away. Excellent signal and I can manage the system from the AirPort Utility on my iPhone.

This is my second AirPort Extreme router. The first extreme I bought 7 years ago, and gave it to a friend when I moved into a bigger place and bought this one. I've never experienced any problems with the hardware or signal - it's been rock solid and hassle-free. I own a 2,600 sq. ft. home built in 1936, so the walls and floors are solid. My internet connection enters the house in a corner of the basement, so that's where I have the AirPort Extreme. It's powerful enough to run an AppleTV, upstairs in the opposite corner of the house, along with my office Mac, on the main level but also in the opposite corner of the house. Very happy and hope to keep it for many more years.

This access point is very solid... I am using it to extend the range of my TimeCapsule and it works very well. Easy setup, fast, and reliable. Highly recommended!

This product is very easy to setup using an IPhone, IPad, or IPod. It has six antennae's inside it, giving a strong radius of coverage. This product does not drop connection to the main internet service like other wireless products. This id a great product for the price.

Purchased this after recommendation of an employee. The broadcast bubble is larger than the other routers we have tried and the signal strength is far superior. Add to that the easiest set up ever! Recommended it to a co-worker and it solved his connectivity issues too.

This is a true Apple product. It does what it does better than other similar products because of the mating of the best software and hardware. The result, the easiest to set-up router with the best performance.

No more power down, power up. This router is easy to setup, super fast, and rarely requires a restart. It can be endlessly customized to meet your security and wireless needs. Has a USB port for connecting a printer or external hard drive for data backup or media sharing.

It has a really nice shape, very easy to set up with an iphone or and ipad. I used the speedtest.net page to measure the internet connection, and my last router was giving me 28 Mbps; with this one, that is an AC standard, i am getting more than 48 Mbps! Excellent choice!

Compared to other wireless routers I've used for both business and home, this is by far the easiest to set up, looks good, and performs great. We have at least 15 devices running off of it and no problems at all (unlike our last Netgear). Would highly recommend!

Performance on my home network improved greatly. Installation was very easy, even for a person who does not have a technology background. Just follow the prompts and it installs itself. I would highly recommend it if you have slow speed or dead spots in your home network.

I was skeptical at first since it didn't look like a typical router, but set up using my iPhone was fast and easy and the range was fantastic. I had to reset my old router all the time. I haven't touched this since setting it up. I'm really happy with the purchase.

For 10 years I have suffered the dreaded poor connection and slow speeds with the router the cable providers provide. I always thought the barely existing connection I was ridden with was due to poor outside wiring, router and just plain old poor service. Well I was wrong!!!! I purchased this base station as I could not deal with the pain anymore and boooyaaaaaa!!!! The speeds, reliable connectivity and performance are AMAZING. I pay for up to 50mbs download speeds and that's exactly what I get from just about every crack and crevice in my large apartment. Where has this beast been all my life???? Thank you Apple :)

This product can work in all corners of the house and keeps the family entertained in all rooms in the house. I took just a few minutes to set it up and it worked right away. I now don't have to limit my intranet time and space to just a few places in the house.

If you have apple products it's a very simple plug and play type device. Apple products easily recognizes it. It doesn't quite have the outdoor range as some routers but it's good enough. Covers entire house. Both upstairs and down. Coverage is good enough I can stream Pandora when I mow. I have gigabit internet service and through 5e Ethernet can get 800mbps. Wifi to iPad, iPhones, and MacBooks average 250-350mbps depending on time of day.

Easy set up. Apple no brainer. Covers my entire 2 level house 3400 sq ft. Placed in the middle of the house on top of a book case. Well built and blends in nicely. I.e. Looks good on the shelf.
