Purchased for college apartment, this router is shared by 3 Mac computers. Worth the higher price point for speed and reliability it provides.

The Apple AirPort Extreme was easy to set up. I set it up through my iPad using AirPort Utility from iTunes. We use it to service the iPad, a PC, a Smart TV, and a Roku 4. We have no problems with video streaming and web surfing on all devices at once with no drop-outs. Plus, if you need to discuss the router with the Apple service department, the experience is light years ahead of trying to work with other router device service people. And that is why you should consider paying a little more for the AirPort Extreme. You want regret it.

A little pricey but an excellent and stable router. Easy to set up and use. Very fast and has .ac capabilities so you are future proof.

I've had this router for three months now and works great, wasn't sure if it would handle all 12 of my wi-fi products, but it sure dose, no slow downs on Vudu or Netflix

I upgraded from my gen1 airport to the gen2 and it didn't disappoint. Easy to setup and super fast with new AT&T fiber.

Have this router connected in bridge mode downstairs through Moca adapter with main router upstairs. Create a new WiFi network downstairs and gives me complete WiFi coverage throughout the house. Very pleased with choice.

One of the best routers on the market as of right now. The fact that it's an AC router means that if you're plugged in by ethernet, you'll actually get an even split in internet speeds! It's a really great router, some of the best speeds over wifi. I really do love this router, so much more than the previous iteration of the airport! Go ahead and buy it!

Had a range problem in our condo. Range of the Extreme covered it with a solid, strong 2 way signal. Excellent product.

Apple does a great job with this router. Very easy to set up and works well right out of the box. My old router I had to reboot all the time but this one just works.

Replaced a non-Apple device that was giving us trouble which we purchased for a lower price. The Airport Extreme has given us rock-solid signal, as expected, and we probably should have gone with this from the start.

Sure it costs more than most other wireless routers but if you just want a machine that always works, it's more than worth the price.

Purchased this unit to replace an aging 2nd gen extreme unit. Fantastic throughput with multiple devices (streaming, gaming, in general wi-fi access). The 802.11 A/C rating is also a plus for newer hardware as well.

You get what you pay for. Best wireless base station I've used. This is my 2nd one. First lasted at least 5 yrs. There are cheaper options but less quality and signal.
