This was a fast modem and great coverage, but locked me out of needed work sites repeatedly. I exchanged it several times, which would reset the Apple IP on the WIFI, but it would block again within a certain amount of time. I finally exchanged for a different brand since Apple couldn't or wouldn't help me.

Upgrade from older Airport Extreme and this new model works very well. Range has improved and just as reliable.

Easy to set up - using Airport utility - from laptop ( Windows or Mac), iphone, ipad. Long range, fast, good product overall.

The unit was easy to setup through the iPad. Signal strength and speed are strong throughout the house. My only complaint would be the difficulty in getting the external hard drive setup. Wish it had 4 ports instead of 3. Not a big deal, just a wish.

Once you get over the price, you will not be disappointed. Especially if you own apple computers. By far the easiest to setup.

Best part about this product is that it allows all of the devices connected on the network to talk to each other. If you are an apple fan, or have multiple apple devices, this is the router you need to get!

My old router and time capsule blew up just after the warranty ended. I debated getting a cheaper router and using a different backup system. In the end I got the Extreme Wireless Base with a Time Capsule. I feel good about it lasting. Because of my previous troubles, I was advised by Apple Technical Support to call them. I did. It was free. Could have handled it myself, but the technician was great. By the way, Best Buy was great about the whole thing. I had to return several items before I got it right.

I have been using it for 2 months and everything is still great. Strong signal, very easy to connect, support up to 50 devices and very aesthetic when you leave at the corner of the desk

Great Robust Router as with All Apple Products, However would be nice if product had web interface instead of have to loadup the Airport utility program on PC to configure and access it

I have to admit we are an Apple household. We are hard on our wireless router with with Apple tv's, computers, phones, iPads, xbox live, etc... Many being used at the same time. We had an older Airport Extreme and needed to upgrade as it could not keep up. This one has exceeded my expectations. Set up was a breeze and it has been amazing. No more buffering even when multiple devices playing movies, music, games at the same time. Very happy we upgraded.

Apple definitely made a solid wireless network device that's easy to configure and works very well. I've setup at least 6 different home networks using Airport Express and Extreme Base Stations, and each time was a breeze. This device supports A/B/G/N/AC and all of the standard security protocols (along with a few additional bells/whistles). Would definitely recommend these if you want something that works well and is very simple to setup/manage.

Setup is easy. Firmware updates are no problem to perform. Works reliably.

I could have probably gone with a smaller piece of equipment but this came highly recommended and it certainly solved all of my problem. No complaints - the price seems fair for what it is/does just overboard for my needs - gonna stick with it though.

It was so easy to set this up and looks nice. Doesn't take up a lot of room on my desk. The fact that I don't have some many wires to mess with is really great.
