The unit was purchased with a new Surfboard modem as a replacement for an existing modem/router from the cable company. Works well but required a call to Apple for final settings to work with Comcast/xfinity. Access to Apple support was awesome and they had the unit working in no time. Highly recommend it as it has enough signal strength to provide coverage for a 2 story house. No more buffering on Netflix on both TVs.

It was so easy to setup. The range is awesome. I haven't had any interruptions while streaming.

This dual band router has improved my speed. Using airport utility made it easy to set up.

Having worked with may wireless access points, this device is unbelievably easy to setup and use in comparison. Although this new version of Extreme is not supposed to work with the Airport Extreme Utility found in Max OSX 10.6 (OS is too old but that's all I had), I was able to get it to work. There were a few issues with the old utility setting up the device but after restarting Extreme, it still worked. Wow.

Excellent product. I needed two of them to resolve a range and connectivity issues that other Ac1750 routers and a range extender could not provide. It has been very seamless and reliable. Video streaming in far corners of the house has gone from impossible to trouble free. Use of a pair or Airport extremes recommended by a geek squad tech was the best input that I got to get what I needed for video streaming and basic network connectivity.

This was super easy to set up for a non techno geek. Range works great in my small condo.

I bought this because I am deeply integrated into the Apple ecosystem. It's a great powerful router that looks nice and modern. For the price I think it's a very reasonable product.

I have the airport extreme placed in the furthest west room in our 5,300+ sq. ft. house and there isn't a single WiFi dead zone on the second floor, first floor or even in the finished basement. Simple to set up, easy to use, and is the best WiFi device I have purchased in the last 10+ years. Apple products continue to expand there footprint within our household and it is because of their reliability and ease of use. This was no exception!

I have xfinity and at first only had their disappointing router. So I got this to use with it and it makes such a difference. Apple for the will n once again.
