Easy to setup and use but just in the last few days I've had problems due to Cox Communications change in settings. This isn't apple's fault though so can't sing them

There is no brainer when it comes to the Apple product. This was my first Airport Extreme base station. I've been using Airport Express 2nd and 3rd generations. They both are also a decent product. With Airport Extreme, I can get more internet speed on my wireless devices. The signal is just awesome. I put it on the 2nd floor and no need to extend the wireless signal even to my basement level. This is a highly recommended product.

Easy install, nice looking and very functional. We use this with PC's, MAC's and tablets. MAC install was a breeze with the Apple utility. Both Form AND Function would cause me to buy this again.

Airport works great extend range compared to old airport extreme much faster too

supportable through the AirportUtility app, set up is easy and signal is strong.

I started using Apple Airport about 10 years ago when I was frustrated with the unreliable connections of the Linksys and Netgear routers. I was replacing those 1-2x a year. My Gen1 Aiport is still working. However needed a newer unit with A/B/N. Beam forming technology improved my data throughput from 29MBps to in excess of 100MBps. Great for online gaming.

Bought as a house warming gift and they were totally excited. They have a few Apple products just not computers yet. Thus far they have enjoyed the product very much.

Great solution for a solid home wifi connection. The 802.11AC networking is a stronger connection than the old G or N technologies, but is still backwards compatible as few devices are AC, but it's the next step so it's nice to be ahead of the curve for a bit. What really sets this router apart is the ability to add a network drive to the router. I connected an external hard drive to it, loaded all my music and video, and can now access my library from anywhere in the house. Problems from my old router (a belkin) that no longer are issues: I don't ever have to restart my router on a daily basis anymore, it just works. The streaming of media to my PS3 is much more reliable and less glitchy (although the PS3 doesn't support the network drive, but that's Sony's fault, not the router. I use WD TV Live boxes in my bedroom, living room, and spare bedroom to stream media, and this router handles it flawlessly. I can access files from my computers or the network drive with no issues. Tested out Apple TV, but found the WD LIVE boxes to be much better. Most of my devices are Apple (iMac, Powerbook pro, iPhone, & iPad) so it of course is compatible, but it also works just as great with PCs.

My life before included restarting wireless devices to seek a wifi signal hundreds of times each day...it also add watching streamed programming more than frustrating. However since the AirPort Extreme...I have a wifi signal whenever I need it and we can now enjoy streamed programming anywhere in our home. Life-changing is the only description I have for this device...it was set up in moments and working for us instantly. Amazing!

Product definitely increases your wifi range and speed. I did an internet speed test before and after install and saw a definite improvement. My house is constructed with wire lathe & plaster, so the walls are very thick and the addition of wire lathe adds to the degradation of wifi signal quality. The AirPort Extreme really improved the reach of my wifi signal. Very happy with my purchase.

Router signal is very strong & worth every penny..

Needed to get better coverage throughout our basement for WiFi and this works perfectly getting rid of all the spots that wouldn’t get a signal before

Love it, very easy to setup, great coverage in my home. Set-up in less then 5 minutes.

I am not extremely tech savvy so I always worry about hooking anything like this up. It was unbelievably simple! I opened the box, plugged it in and it was up and running.

Fast connection and covers a wide range of approximately 2000 sq ft area.

Easy set up, install and use. So far it has not failed or needs to be reset following adding equipment to the wireless network. So far it is a great unit.

As with most apple products, this was very easy to set up and has great range.

I have always bought annually a new router due to unstable connectivity/loss and/or new equipments that wasn't allowing my router to be upto par with the bandwith. Since recommendation of this product, It was simply plug and play. Scan all equipments in the network and set each one to its maximum band individually. My kids have been available to watch my PS3 movies much faster while I do my research online. Thanks.
