To sum it up I plugged it in, I set it up through my iPhone and haven't seen it since. In case you are wondering its a good thing. Its been working so flawlessly that I haven't had a need to ever look at it again. It may be a little pricey but it's beautig and works as good as other routers in the same price range.

But, you get what you pay for. Once I'd set the unit up, the signal strength improved greatly all over my large two-story house. Handling 2 computers, printer, 2 cell phones and a tablet without any slowdown. And the little smooth-sided box just looks nice, with the friendly green light to remind you that it's working.

I needed a new router I had a Netgear for many years it works good but not powerful enough so I start looking for a new router for home and like they say sometimes going cheap is not the Best so I decide to spend the extra money and i got it. is good,, really easy to install it in 15 minutes with my iPad and I can change the settings from any apple device I have regular fast speed internet with comcast and they say you can have up to 25 Mbps and I'm getting 28.50 Mbps all over the house I use my own Motorola modem so i'm not paying for any lease..

If you are a mac user this is a no brainer. This is one of the better routers on the market and it just works

This is my second airport, only because the first was hit by lightning. It is even better than the first. The unit is in my basement and still provides reception outside past our property lines. I had it unpacked and fully installed in under 5 minutes. I like how I can access my external hard drives via the USB connection.

I've tried a lot of routers, I always end up back on an Airport. If you need complex firewall rules, look elsewhere. But if you want a good looking and easy to mange router with great range, stop right here. I've used OnHub, Google WiFi and a couple Asus units, and I'm still back here.

My husband and I bought a Belkin years ago to replace our Netgear. We could never install the Belkin properly and we kept losing our connection with the Netgear. After months of frustration, we finally bought the Apple Airport. It's terrific. Easy to install. Easy to use. And it works! What could be better than that?

My home has several apple routers that I use as wireless bridges. This router became the base station feeding all the other routers throughout the house. Very easy to do with the apple software. Now we are ready for all the 802.11AC products that are starting to appear like the Samsung Galaxy S4 and new Apple laptops.

Just upgraded my Airport from 2010. Never had a problem and with the old one and wanted another 7 years with no issues. It absolutley rocks, my speeds have increased 50 percent, plus it Apple and that means it rock solid with no problems. It looks really cool to with the Apple design.

This is a very stable and reliable router, although it would be helpful if it had more ports.

I had a router that was dropping connections to iPhones. The new Apple router is easy to setup and very easy to use. Since getting the Apple my wireless range has been extended and I have not dropped connection. Great product even though Apple does not do routers anymore.

I had an 8yr old Lynksys and my internet was slow. I was ready to by a new laptop because I thought that was the problem. I went looking and explained my problem and was recommended to try this. I had it setup within 5 mn. Whereas my Lynksys always had setup issues. Within in minutes I had high speed internet again

It's a great router. I wish apple would come out with there own modem or a combined unit. The app make hook up easy and it's nice you could download updates off the app. The router could manage 50 devices which is great. Excellent product but the fact you have to buy a modem too takes more space and more wires.

The Airport Extreme is nice looking, does not take up much space on the desktop. Was easy to install the hardware with the cable modem and network hook-ups (main PC, PS3). Also, added an external HD without complication via USB. Making a connection to our laptops, iPads, and iPhones was very straightforward. Only issue I saw was that at the other end of the house, the signal dropped off. I then added an Airport Express to extend the range. Now the house has full coverage. The speed of the connection is fine. I am happy with the product.

It is nice to have my own modem and to not need to rent one from a carrier. We have everything: computers, phones, printers, cell phones, etc. linked to the modem and it makes life real easy. Since it is an Apple product I can control it easily through my computer.

The AirPort Extremw was a breeze to setup. The app was intuitive and I was able to setup a home and guest network, change default settings with ease, and even program OpenDNS for content filtering. I would highly recommend this router to anyone looking to take their home WiFi to the next level.

Slowly transitioning to an all Apple house! With other routers I've had issues with getting a signal everywhere in my house. With the AirPort Extreme I have strong signal everywhere in the house and in my yard. I also get the full use of my bandwidth everywhere! All little pricey but in my opinion well worth it!!
