This purchase represents my third Airport base station in some 15 years. I've never found any other product that comes as close to the reliability of the Airport Extreme. The Airport Extreme also doesn't seem to be as delicate as other brands which is why it holds up so well.

The router had the best range in class without signal drop off. In other words you get full signal and speed untill the range max, which is far, after that the drop in signal is steep. Great for large areas or many Apple devices

I've had all kinds of routers in my home and eventually every one of them got where it didn't maintain a consistent connection - except this one. So, when the ISP supplied router for my business failed, I bought another AirPort Extreme Base Station. No problems since.

I have been so happy with the one we have at home that I decided to buy one for my office. They work great, are super easy to set up and make airplay printing a snap from iPad or iPhone. Would highly recommend but I have heard they will stop making which really stinks.

Good product. It has several built in antennas instead of just one like most. Also, the antennas direct the signal directly to the device you’re using instead of just broadcasting everywhere.

I purchased this to replace my old Airport after it finally started showing its age. I would give it 5 stars if it just had a bit more range in my home (probably the fault of my home though).

Having huge wireless problems at home. Bought a $130 router. It had to be rebooted several times a day. Was told to get this. Brought back the old router and got this. Now no problem, wireless works fast and no loss downstairs!!

Needed to replace a 4 year old router and the Apple Tower was highly recommended by the guys in the store. GS came to install and reinstall home network and we were still experiencing poor/spotty/delayed connectivity on the side of the house that did no have the router (imagine a 2 story wall built through the middle of house). With an add-on for another $100 on the other side of the house, we have excellent connectivity on all wireless products throughout the house, including on decks and expanded outdoor areas.

This seems to be a good router, but with the standard Apple limitations. It doesn't like to play well if you are trying to do things outside of it's comfort zone. Anyone who uses Apple products knows the story.

2 Thumbs up!! We tried working with our local internet service provider, but in order to improve our speed, we'd need to relocate the modem/router, which meant putting in another outlet. The guys at Best Buy recommended this product. It was easy to install and has significantly ncreased our speed!!

Not a apple fanboy but this product has win me over to Apple I love this product..I am a IT person I have used a lot of different routers But I think this router is the best router you could get if you want a excellent speed from your Internet this one blows of the routers out of the water

Overall, I really like this product. It has been a little difficult getting it to work with my sons Xbox, luckily Apple and Microsoft have both been very helpful.

I had a netgear router prior to the apple airport and it could not keep up with all the wireless devices in my house. It kept on going in and out. Once i exchanged it to the airport it immediately configured to all my devices and we were all back in business. Love this router.

I've tried every router under the sun. Still the apple AirPort Extreme has been the most stable and capable router of handling my households daily use and able to handle the company that asks to use the Internet without giving the password by using the guest wifi account..
