My Internet connection was slow but with the Apple Airport Extreme Wireless Base Station it really sped things up. I am very happy with the purchase. It made a world of difference in the speed of the connection.

Was a little more expensive than the Linksys I had, which would not let me transfer control to a newer computer. Should have absolutely no problem when I get a new Mac making a transfer. BTW, Cisco never answered me when I asked how I could transfer control to a new computer.

Wireless router works fantastic. Replaced the smaller apple router we had for 3+ years.

I had an apple pro get us all set up after I couldn't get it to work properly - simple instructions but I had trouble with everything we had going . It's working great with 2 iPhones, 2 iPads, 2 iMacs, a wireless printer, an AT&T microcell and a smart tv. Very pleased!

Router is easy to set up, only takes about five minutes. Works great throughout the house.

Ordered this to replace an older Cisco Router. So far, after a few weeks, it's still working great! I've been streaming 4K and using multiple devices at the same time with no problems. This thing was SO easy to set up with my iPad and worked immediately.

I needed to set up a large network in my 18,000 sq ft, oddly shaped office. Long story short, I needed to set up one Extreme and use 3 more Airports to extend the network. Set up was very simple and it supports more than 25 devices at all times.

Best router I have every owned! It was extremely easy to setup, I was able to add a hard drive to share over the network, and I was even able to do all of this from my iPhone! The range and speed is crazy! I can be anywhere in my house or backyard and still have great signal.

I bought this to upgrade my wireless network from what Verizon gave me. The speeds seem a little better but not all that much. I was hoping for more.

Heavy on simplicity and ease of use. Great range and performance. Light on advanced firewall configuration options.

It's a great router honestly. Even as one of the MIMO and 5GHz pioneers, it stands up to a lot of routers these days in terms of speed and signal range. Unfortunately it's lack of MU-MIMO functionality cripples it. Cant play games on it and then watch a youtube video on your phone. Adding back a star because this wasn't AirPort's fault, it was just the timeframe it was popular in is all.

Set up was so easy--from plug in to my MacBook Air, it took seconds! however, we kept having problems with it--our internet would work but the AirPort would shut down and not allow us to get our WiFi throughout the house. Best Buy couldn't help us, so we had to make a trip to the Apple Store. They did replace it and this one seems much better. Hoping it was just a bad one!

I got this because I thought it would be faster than my previous Netgear router and since I had multiple Apple devices, I was told it would, but it is still about the same speed, which isn't bad, just expected better. I will say that this is great if you have multiple devices to connect because unlike my Netgear, I don't see any further slowing no matter how many devices are connected.
