Great product for 1st time buyers . There's not a lot of hassle of trying to figure out on the set-up. Apple has made it so simple event a child can put together.

I had to get a new airport and wanted to get an apple one because the rest of the house is apple. I was surprised how easy it was to set up. It was pretty much a plug and play.

This router has great coverage and lets everyone get online with a minimum of slowdowns. Get the Airport Utility app and check speeds, who's on the network, and more. Easy to set up and maintain.

Upgrade from 1st generation and I can't be happier

Finally able to network our house via Apple. Simple, lightning speeds, security at its best. Used a separate modem for a modem only, this router is great for anything wireless, Apple, devices or Windows PCs.

If you like apple products, you'll like this router. There are better options for wifi gaming, but if you hardwire your console/pc, the wifi performs great for all other uses. Super easy setup.

Easy to setup up and thats it. I normally go for the tech that I can customize to suit my needs however with Apple's routers its not necessary, like most of there products it just works. I came from routers I need to fiddle with and tweak to get just decent performance, and restart constantly because of dropped service to this. I've never lost a connection after having it for months, there are times of slowed down wifi but few and far in-between. I haven't used the usb storage functionality of it but plan on doing so for multimedia service/backups. Higher price tag than similar routers but if you want to avoid those annoyances of why isn't the internet working? then get his ASAP!

I bought an Apple - AirPort Extreme Base Station some time ago to use with my MacBook Pro, which I also bought at Best Buy. I am very pleased with it and have not had any problem thus far.

New model gives off less heat and is up to speed with newer features as well as better signal strength output.

Just moved into a new house and it's much bigger and I was having trouble getting internet through the entire house. This was an easy set up and I have no problems with getting Internet anyway.

Easy to setup via their app on my iPhone. Installed, brief setup for 5Ghz network, and it was done. Zero restarts in two months. Solid speeds. Looks good.

Airport is extremely easy to set up with either the airport utility app or the use of a Mac computer.

Multiple devices streaming at the same time and little to no lag in any of them. Easiest set up of any wireless router I've ever owned. Hooked an external USB hard drive to it and now I have network storage!!!

Great router but like many other Apple products, it is a little expensive. Five star quality but the high price makes me lean towards a 4.

This router is being used inside a fire station for multiple users and works well. Nothing negative to report. Easy to set up and great reach throughout the fire station. Highly recommend it for home or office.

Not only is this thing super fast, but it took less then 2 minutes to call next to all my apple devices! Yo can not go wrong with it. Just wish its was black like the Apple TV versus white.

before we used this there were areas in our house that had no wi-fi signal, but we now have a great signal everywhere even through our concrete walls. our internet speed is also greatly improved as well

I bought this to replace my TimeCapsule/wifi router and I'm pleased with the results. Internet speed in the house in general seems faster, which was the point. I can't say that it was the easiest to install, as my husband had to call Comcast and then Apple Care (the latter are awesome and fixe the issue; Comcast didn't even call us back when they said they would).

This Apple product was easy to install and i love it. But I cannot confirm if it is any faster than the prioer AirPort device I had. I bought it for the new technology but had to confirm its benefit right now.
