I just added another extreme to my garage to cover wifi for the yard and pool area. i run FIOS 300/300 and this router gives me the ability to run this speed . I LOVE IT !!!!!

Its sad that Apple is not going to make these anymore, but by far the easiest and best WIFi routers I have ever used. Would highly recommend to get one before you can no longer

I was upgrading to the new version of the AirPort Extreme and find that this one is definitely faster than the old version. Now we get better streaming for our Netflix and Hulu content.

So far it is better than the 6 year old router it replaced. Evey once in a while there is a hiccup in the streaming but not too often.

Exactly what I was looking for a reliable router. This one has been rock stable, never requires a reboot. Literally set it up and haven't touched it since. High quality construction and ease of use.

Easy to setup and configure, the Apple AirPort Extreme is a no-brained for Apple enthusiasts, and provides an easy setup. From unboxing to use, couldn't have been more than 5 minutes.

Hands down best router I have ever owned in my life! I pay for 150 mbps speeds, but with this router I'm getting 230 mbps! If you already own apple products this is the way to go!

Currently have one installed in our home and needed one for our son and daughters house at college. Didn't need to look at any other routers just bought the newer one for them. They are very satisfied.

This is the easiest router I have ever set up. So far the wireless service is rock solid. The up side was that my Apple hardware detected it fast and setup was fairly easy- It did require some tweaking as I was using it as a access point, but the firmware was easy to configure. The only up and down side is that It recognizes peripherals including powered Hard Drives, but the down side it is stuck with a USB 2.0 port. If you use it for Time Machine or streaming media you may encounter a lag or slow response. Otherwise this router is the best on the market.

Typical apple product tested reliable and does what it is suppose to do. Only reason for not giving five stars is that a recently bought Amazon Dot periodically stops working. I am investigating to see if it is this product or the Dot at fault. BTW that is my third Echo product but only one connected to the Apple product.

This is the third base station I've purchased. I'm so glad I went with it, it's amazing. I have a 3000 sq ft house and it's in a closed cabinet: reaches every corner of the home.

As an Apple user I love this router for its easy setup that can be set up from the Airport utility on your iOS devices or on the mac. Great router to connect any wireless device.

Apple - AirPort Extreme Wireless Base Station appears in my basement office and has excellent range all over the house. It reaches over 2900 square feet of house, Design is also very appealing.

I was about to pay for more broadband speed but instead change my router and the performance improved so much that the speed I was paying for was already more than enough.

This router from apple has definitely exceeded my expectations. It was super easy to set up and I can manage it from my phone. I get good download speeds all over my house.

Love the Airport Extreme. I am an Apple Tech and I insist that my clients use them. Great range - easy to administer - and works as a file server and wireless backup with a hard drive attached!

This is one of the best routers on the market. If you have apple computers, tablets, etc. Then, you must add this to your network.

Installation was a breeze and works as expected. Not for the person who wants total tweak control of every parameter of the device.

Just plug the new one in to an ethernet port on the old one, fire up Airport Utility and follow the prompts to replace a device with the new one. You are done a couple minutes later.

This is my second Airport Extreme router and the purchase was an easy choice. After years of dealing with Linksys routers with issues and having reboot I purchased my first Airport Extreme a few years ago. The old one didn't die, I turned it into a extender by my TV where my PS3, Apple TV and DirecTV need a router. Setup is a breeze and it's stable. It just works and for that I'm fine with paying more than other routers cost. For this product you pay for what you get. Our house is a mix system house where we watch Netflix while gaming, stream movies from our home NAS drive. We have Windows and Macs on the network. If you run Windows don't not get this just because it's an Apple product.
