Router keeps itself up-to-date via online download feature for firmware updates. Has software tool (runs on Macs, iPads, iPhones, & iPod-Touches only) that you can run to setup/configure device in a couple of minutes. App is also used to check for and download firmware updates. Can setup standard 2 GHz (for longer distances) AND expanded 5 GHz (faster speeds) WiFi networks. WiFi connectivity easy and problem-free for all kinds of devices - ex. computers, printers, TVs, thermostats, security systems, tablets, mobile phones, gaming systems, etc..

Works well with Mac or PC products , we typically have 10 things on wifi at once and speeds are still very fast .... Easy to set up and Geary Mac support ......

Great item. Works fine and would recommend to others. Wifi range is excellent which is why I bought this. I get full signals on 2nd floor

Super easy setup, wide coverage throughout the apartment. We live in a 5 story apartment building and we can get a strong signal by the pool on the 1st floor!

With the Geek Squad assistance I was able to have my entire home and shop wireless with a strong signal throughout. I works great!!!
