Love the AirPort Extreme
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Works much better than my previous router. Stronger signal and a more reliable connection. I have Internet connection in parts of my house where I didn't with my old router. Best part up and running out of the box in less than 5 mins. Lives up to the Apple reputation! If you are looking for a simple set-up router that performs well, this is it.

My second airport and better than ever
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After going thru a wireless router about once a year, I decided to purchase an airport. That was about 5 years ago. I decided to give it to someone else and buy myself a new one. I picked this one up about a month ago and it is working better than I could have hoped. Anyone who has Comcast Cable should really consider buying your own modem and an airport. Works much better than the cable company's equipment.

Powerful signal, simple setup
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Routes the wifi signal clearly in the house and carries to the shop/garage which are in a separate building. Dead simple to set up.

Preform better than I expected
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been using an Airport Extreme 4th Generation for a few years now and I was not impressed when it came to wirelessly connecting to my Comcast modem that I have running in bridge mode. I pay for the 105mb/sec internet service but when I connect wireless the maximum speed was around 29mb/sec, but hardwired I get beyond the minimum guaranteed speed of 105 I would get 126mb/sec. I have tried it with many types of wireless adapter cards. Recently we have upgraded to the new I phone 6 that have the new 802.11-AC (3 total) and relocated two of the Desktop PCs and installed wireless-AC card when we connected to the 4th Generation Airport extreme obviously with 802.11-N still could connect faster than 29mb/sec. So I went to BestBuy and purchased the new 6th Generation Airport extreme and went through the installation wizard that took about 10 minutes choosing the default settings and every device connected instantly to it because I used the same Wireless Name and password as the previous one. I was very impressed every device was running at 126mb/sec. Another reason I use and recommend the Apple Routers is because the are the only brand that can actually extend the network with out having hickups and gliches.

Trouble Free WiFi networking
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Apple Airport Extreme base station has been a reliable performer for all my networking needs. It can be setup with my Mac or using my iPhone. Using two I have been able to provide good coverage to large homes. Apple updates these routers periodically which gives me confidence they are kept up to date. Doesn't play well with the old Sonos ethernet hubs or other devices that have faulty or insecure network settings. Remove the questionable device and all works fine.

Best Router out there
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.By far the best router I have owned. Fast, long range, and stable. Easy to set up, and works as well with my PC's as my Mac products.

Great Router
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We used to have a D-link router, and it didn't quite get the wireless signal to the bedroom. This new router's signal reaches the bedroom, and it's still fast. I have the early 2013 rMBP, which even though it doesn't have the ac wireless, I've still noticed much faster speeds. The only downside it that it's so darn expensive, but it's pretty much worth it.

It gets no easier
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my second Extreme Base Station. I have it attached via ethernet to my Apple TV 4K. So simple to use and so speedy. I have a large house and the router is stuck on the third floor and the movie room is in the basement. The signal strength is always excellent and our devices have no buffering issues.

Worth the money
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This 'router' is more than meets the eye, you can use it to do a host full of functions or just use it as a router, it handles faster speeds like a champ without knocking down my speed over the network, the range and ease of use are great for beginners who don't want a lot of options, or for advanced users who want to just let the Apple software do it's thing. It didn't get 5 stars because the software to set it up on a pc lacks the functionality of the Apple version. While it works great with all products, I am told by Apple support that the initial setup should be done on an apple product.

Most versatile router on the market.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Apple extreme Wi-Fi router is flat out awesome. It is without a doubt the easiest way to bring proper Internet service to your home and create a Wi-Fi mesh to reach all areas of your property. Easily configured with any iOS device or by a computer with the Airport app. Automatically figures out whether it needs to be a router or an additional access point and configures IP settings beautifully.

Great Range
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We were having some connection issues in our house and bought the Airport as an upgrade. The range is great, my office is in the back of our 1650 sqft home and the Airport lives in the front. We no longer have any issues with a weak signal. I even work on the back porch some days with no issues. A word of warning though, after we purchased this router we also had to upgrade our modem because it couldn't keep up (mind you I was using the same modem the cable company brought me 5 years ago so it was about time).

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Dependable Wifi station with great speed and signal strength. This is my second airport extreme base station. I gave my 8 year old airport extreme to my father, and it still works fantastic. Easy set up and manipulation of settings.

Make for Apple
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this AirPort to replace an old one (more than 10 years old). It was time to take advantage of the new wireless standards and the use of multiple antennas. It has performed to my satisfaction. I stream from Roku, Amazon and Netflix. I choose to purchase this Airport at Best Buy instead of Apple because of the rewards program. I was able to use a certificate and earn points at the same time. This made it a win-win for me. I was able to purchase my Apple product and be rewarded for doing so.

Fast router
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had this router for a few weeks. Set up wasn't difficult because I had access to an Apple device. I don't think it would have been as easy or maybe even possible using my Windows laptop. The Apple devices in the house seem to work a bit better or have preference over the non-Apple ones. Kids are using it for gaming and streaming video. No complains about the speed, range, or stability. I haven't played around with the parental controls yet so no comment about them.
