I have only used Airport Extreme routers since my entire household went to all Apple products, except for a couple of newer Android devices, and I have always been very happy. This router replaced my previous model after it started to sporadically drop the signal and cause issues. It was extremely easy to setup and have not had any issues at all since installing it.

Easy to install, easy to set-up, and most of all easy to maintain. Works phenomenally and the range is terrific.

Love the new design of the router. It takes less foot print and the signal is much stronger than the previous model.

I'm not an Apple guy, I don't prefer Apple, but this was the same price as the other router of same caliber. I know Apple is top notch for Security and that. Best Buy guy said this is has Great far range and can hold numerous users at once. I have the DVR, 2 phones, PS4 connected almost all the time. When guests are over, it's more. Router handles them fine. Netflix and all that too...

First, the setup couldn't be easier! Plug it in, walk through some prompts, and then just let it be! Second, the wireless coverage is far better than our previous Apple router and now there are no spots in our home without access. I would recommend this to anyone who uses a Mac product and needs a wireless router.

This is at least our fourth wifi router and was the easiest to set up. Signal strength is great. It handles 2 ipads, 4 cell phones, 4 computers, and 2 PS3's with ease. We have a large single story home and it works throughout. Very pleased with this product.

At first I was hesitant because of the cost, but having set this device up, it is spectacular. The setup only took a few minutes. I can have passwords for myself and family members in the home while setting up a guest password. The range is far superior to any router I've used otherwise and the speeds are ridiculously good.

It has fantastic coverage in my two story house, excellent speeds, and was the easiest router I've ever set up. If you're looking for a router that you can tweak deep settings on, this isn't for you. If you just want something simple, reliable, fast, and don't need to tweak a dozen settings, this is perfect. Love it.

We bought this to replace a linksys. It has great range, and is perfect for people with all the new gadgets and gizmos. The personal and guest network feature is great. Very simple setup. Have had for two months now and haven't had a single drop. Works very well for netflix and movie streamers, haven't had any load time!!

I bought this to replace a 6 year old AirPort Extreme that had served my family well but was noticeable slower with all the wireless devices we now have. When I plugged the new AirPort Extreme in, it found the existing wireless network and ID'd it as another AirPort Extreme and gave the option to copy the current network configuration to the new router. Less the a minute later the new AirPort is up and running and I retired the old Airport. Easy as pie.

Over the years, I've used several routers namely Linksys, Netgear, Buffalo Technology and Belkin. In due time, something goes wrong with them and a decision has to be made whether to continue using it or replace it with something else. I've always heard Apple Airport Extreme is the best router out there. The cost at $200.00 has always given me a hard time to justify the purchase. I finally bit the bullet and bought one several weeks ago. I have nothing but praise for it. It was easy to install. My MBP easily found the router and the connection was easy. My 5 star rating is based on its performance. I feel if the price was lowered to $150.00, it will definitely sell better and get more folks to try out this router.

It was setup in no time, it works really well with macs, pc had adjustment issues, but everything works great.

Very easy to install, no muss, no fuss and most importantly, works great. Pricey but you get what you pay for.

In my last apartment we went through three routers before settling on the older version of this one. Previous routers were temperamental, and I think we tossed them one after the other for about 2 months before someone purchased the Apple AirBase Extreme (once again, older version). It was amazing. Then I moved to my new apartment -- a 3bdr -- and the router my roommates had purchased was awful. There are over 10 connected devices at any given time in our place, and at least seven in my bedroom alone. But our router was so bad that you couldn't use one of the apps on our SmartTV and surf the Internet at the same time on your computer, even when you were in the same room as the router. I would have to use my LTE on my phone to do anything if the TV were using the wireless. So I purchased this router, and all our problems since have gone away. We can all stream movies, listen to music, watch TV, and surf the Internet, all at the same time. No issues whatsoever. Whenever I need a new router, I will be buying this one. Plus it's really easy to set up, and I am not the most technologically savvy.

It was a quick and easy setup, however, I did not get the boost in speed I was hoping for. Upgraded my very old Linksys G to to apple and the speed test shows the increase from 10 to 50, but I still notice a lag on my iMac/iPad.
