I had to setup a small business network and I decided to use the Apple $20 OSX server with a Mac Mini. Everything online said having this base station would make life easier. It did! Server recognizes it and it handles all tasks from the server panel without bouncing to another UI!

Our home is difficult and I believe it will probably mean we need additional small routers but this one is very easy to install

We have been very pleased with the coverage distance for this router. We have a large home and it works great everywhere. The only trouble was installation which turned out to be a mismatch between new router and older cable internet technology. Apple fixed the issue and no problems since. Definitely recommend!

It's a good router. I see lot of difference between this and my old router. Only thing is price higher than Netgear or Linksys ac routers

I got this device to pair with another AirPort Extreme and had nothing but problems. Two calls to tech support and sent the unit back to apple because it was defective. New unit was hard to setup and took a call to tech support again. After 45 minutes of troubleshooting the first AirPort Extreme worked. 2 hours later tech support was able to get the two to talk at only b/g bandwidth. Gave up on trying to get 5ghz network to paid between two devices. We have full signal on devices and the router crawls. Do not buy.

I had the router provided by fios, but was not doing the job for two playstatios,a smart tv , Apple TV, plus several smart phones and iPads. AirPort Extreme solve the problem!

This is a solid Wifi Router... after all... Apple invented Wifi decades ago. Its easy to setup and has a very large broadcast range... 10x stronger than any other routers out there I've seen. It's also the secure enough for businesses without the hefty price tag of an enterprise router.

Good productivity but expensive. Bought another product at the store and geek said it wouldn't work and recommended a more expensive item

Since we have so many kids (8) and grand kids (12) who all have a device that connects to the internet we needed something that could handle multiple devices at one time when they all come to visit. This does the job. We love it and we also get better range with it. We would highly recommend this product.

I was already using an AirPort Express. When I plugged in the AirPort Extreme it picked up all credentials from the AirPort Express, updated the software immediately and began communicating with all devices within 10 minutes maximum. I like the fact that it informs you when a software update is available.

This route has performed flawlessly for years, and it looks great.

For the past 6 or so years, I have always used an Apple router. This is the first Airport Extreme I have owned (previously used Time capsules). Has plenty of throughput over the wireless and doesn't slow down my 100Mb internet pipe. Best thing I can say about it is stability. I never have to reboot it.

I replaced my old apple router with a new version. It was super simple to install, all my devices re-connected with no issues and my wireless speed increased. The bonus was that I took the old router to the basement and created a bridge to improve the speed down there also.

I like the design and the ease of setup, but signal could be stronger. I may have to pair with an apple express to increase the range.

I purchased the airport extreme for a condo down in Mexico and it worked great. The problem down in Mexico is that the buildings are made of cement blocks so wi-fi has a tough time getting to all the areas of the condo. Changing my old one for this one worked like a charm, everywhere in the unit.

Needed router for my Internet. Gave up on Cable company provided DLink, then went through two Linksys routers which required contant reboot. Friend suggested an AirPort and I haven't had an issue in over three months. Rock solid product.

I received an email from Best Buy about upgrading my router. I reviewed all the available routers and found Apple AirPort to be the best. I also had the Geek Squad install it and couldn't be more satisfied. They made recommendations and help me understand the equipment much better.

After trying two other name brand routers, I had GeekSquad install and set up the Apple Extreme with an Apple Airport Express. The Extreme is connected via ethernet to a switch. The result is a reliable, strong connection to four printers, Apple TV, two faxes and the Internet. Emphasis on reliable.

Easy install, easy setup, and perfect for almost any residential/small business needs. Range is great and very reliable.
