This router is simply awesome. That being said if you have an apple product and are looking for a router this is the one for you. Just download a free app and the set up and monitoring of the router can be done from your idevice. If you don't have any apple products this is still a great router. You just lose the brainless simple set up (it's still easy). Although if you don't have any apple products you probably aren't going to buy this router anyway.

This new router provides a much stronger signal compared to my older Airport Extreme. Fast and easy setup.

Easy to install, 100% reliable and more than twice as fast as the old Apple Airport Extreme it replaced, this really does everything it's supposed to. I read that Apple is getting out of the router business, which is too bad, because they really built attractive and functional routers.

I chose this router because of the wireless AC speeds and everything in my household is Apple (1 Macbook pro and 3 iPads). I figured it would be simply easier to turn my samsung printer into a airport compatible printer however this is not the case. ONLY certain printers can be used for that functionality. Pros: VERY EASY to set up on windows and OS X It was able to handle streaming from all devices with no problem Cons: an obnoxiously big white block resting on your table Definitely would recommend for novice users

Just buy 3 of these guys for my Boss's house and so far all I hear from him is good news, especially for the speed and service reliability, setup was easy using Airport Tool on Windows platform. Once you configure them is zero maintenance, just peace of mind and joy.

Purchased to upgrade an older Apple airport base station. Once installed, there was a definite increase in both range and transfer speed. We run a variety of devices (laptops, iPads, printers, etc.) and this new unit handles the demand without drop-off. Installation into an existing Apple network is straightforward using the Airport utility (Please note: older version of expansion wall modules may not work with the latest version of the Airport utility)

The router is easy to setup and works as advertised with all the speed I was looking for in an AC router.

This was an upgrade from the Airport Extreme N. The difference is night and day! I was able to remove an older extreme I was using as an extender do the the increased coverage and range inside and out of the house. The A/C is flawless and was even able to increase down speeds by 15Mbps to my wife's iPhone 5s as well as my iPad . I was leery to spend the cash for fear of diminished returns, however the Airport Extreme A/C lives up to expectations. The unit looks good, is easy to set up, and like all products "JUST WORKS".

The set-up was super easy and the range is excellent. even non-apple products work great with the Airport.

Reliable. Easy to set up. Updates are quick. I paired 2 of them together using cat5e ethernet cable. With automatic switching, you get linked to whichever of the 2 you are getting a better signal from, kind of like a mesh network.

The apple AirPort Extreme has very good range( 3story home) reaches every corner.a breeze to set up on Ipad/IPhone with airport utility app. It literally took me 5 minutes to network 2 MacBooks,PC,IPad air,2Iphones,IPod touch and hp printer.

Just buy it! I am very familiar with network setups, but this router will just make your life easier. It rarely requires rebooting and is very stable. Even though its app based interface is minimal it still avails you the opportunity to do what 95% of users need to do. Youtube has several totorials on setting up more complex situations if you need to do so. BTW- it has 1 gig speed and AC mode is covered.

It. Works way better than the piece of junk the cable company provided. I was regularly off line when I needed to be on. Range is also appreciably better. I can stay connected all over the house. Have not gone off line or had to re-boot once

Great Router for my three story home. I keep it in the basement and have great service throughout the entire house. I would definitely recommend using this router. Personalization options are limited and require some skill to set up. It took a little research to allow my printer to work on the network.
