Was looking for a replacement for my outdated/ broken Air Port. A private representative for cable service spoke with me about future needs for my wi-fi usage and suggested getting a higher capacity device. Good advice.

it solved our problem with wireless between the house and office. it was simple to set up and has dual band .Perfect for the way we are set up.

I love the way it handles apps. My favorite is "On Song" it allows you to download song lyrics with chords and the soundtrack if you have it in your music library. It also allows you to transpose a song to a different key automatically.

My old time capsule gave up and instead got this new generation. This matches my existing one and seamlessly extends my WiFi network. Airport app gets all the basic controls remotely as well.

Solid design with great coverage. Apple makes it easy to extend the wifi network by adding additional units. Setup can be completed on your iPad/iPhone. Clean looking design that fits in well. Small switch built in. Get one. Worth it.

Although it is supposed to simply recognize the computer and be intuitive about setting up, it isn't. There was more to it. Mostly, it was an issue about our provider, but it seemed that AirPort directions were misleading about how you could just hook it up completely at home. There are lots of discussions on line because of this.

Too bad apple stoped making routers because the extreme still works great. I’m using this as an extender. I pay for 200 download speed and am getting 235. I will use this until I need an upgrade.

I replaced all my wifi technology in my house with the airport basestation and 2 apply airports that I tied in as bridges. Works great. Huge improvement in my wifi at the house. Everyone in the family is very happy.

Very fast but little pricy. Awesome and fast. If you have an old router. Go with this one

I own a large warehouse facility and was suffering from slow connection rates across the facility. Added the AirPort Extreme Base from Apple and no more problems. Would recommend to anyone looking to enhance speed.

Was having trouble with my Wi-Fi signal and it definitely helped extend the signal. It has to be strategically placed in the house for best reception and sometimes you're limited on where you can put it, if u want to hard line it.

I have worked in IT for about 17 years so I have had experience with a lot of Wireless devices. I can say that the Airport is as good if not better than any of the competition.

I chose the Apple airport because of having the majority of devices being apple. I am happy with the performance, great connection speed through the entire house.

Not sure it is really 3x faster - but always depends on your local internet provider. Issues hooking it up - not just plug in and go. Instructions were not helpful. I had to call Apple directly - but they are always good at troubleshooting! Signal appears strong throughout the house and have had no issues since initial hook up.

The dual band helps my internet speed better the single band I had before

Works well and is easy to set up with mac. Is a little expensive but worth it.

Great connectivity....handles entire house (all 3 levels) without a problem.

If your Apple product user and/or use Apple Airplay this is the router for you. Had several issues getting my wifi to stream until I switched to the Apple Airport Extreme and Apple Airplay.
