I'm a huge fan of Apple, so this review is biased from the get-go. Apple's Airport system is the most stable and reliable wireless network out there. I'll never switch.

Wanted to upgrade from 5th to 6th generation Airport Extreme. Just moved into a slightly larger apartment so I needed a little bit further range. And, while I was at it, a speed upgrade.

Great for the average user. Good signal and very user friendly and easy to use. However, If you have a wired client such as a DVR that you want to access internally but block from the internet You can't. Call apple and they will tell you. unfortunately, I had to return this item

This is my second Apple Airport. I really liked the first one and am delighted with this one. It has proven to do exactly what is is supposed to do.

This router solved all of our problems with streaming movies through our apple tv. No glitching at all with easy and fast access throughout our 2000 sq ft home. Yay!

This is a great router with simple installation. It's too bad Apple has decided to stop producing new versions, but it doesn't mean this router is any less functional.

Very happy with this router. Set up was super easy

No problems and love the free tech support that comes with it. Using white plastic over basic black makes it much easier to hook up and find all the bell and whistles without a flashlight

Super easy to set up and maintain wireless router that provides lightning fast connection, with little loss of fidelity from terrestrial connection to wireless speeds.

This is probably the best router external hard drive I’ve ever owned. Not the easiest to setup but worth the fer minutes it will take.

When you find a product that is attractive, functions as advertised, installs quickly and easily, there is very little else to say. I wish all technical items were this easy to find.

I've owned the old Apple Airport but this model does exactly it was designed connection activity has been a 10 plus on a rating scale

Although Apple now out of the wireless router/access point game the AirPort Extreme still does the trick for AC wifi with great converge, fast and easy setup.

Tried to setup but have been unsuccessful so far. Going to get Geek squad to help.

This is a solid base station with increased throughput via the wireless AC band. The only criticism that I have is that I wish the Airport offered more customizable configurations and reporting. I would prefer to be able to configure the device via Command Line Interface (CLI), but you can only configure the device via the app.

So sad that Apple has discontinued these routers. They work so well and I love the Airport utility app. Had to stock up before they are gone forever.

I have three of these and they extend my network fantastic. You can't tell when you walk around my property between all them. Only one network appears and that's great

Great WiFi Router with amazingly fast speed depending on your service provider! Mine is Sonic and it increased 10 times comparing to my old D-Link DIR 657!
