I returned it because it did not work with my net gear Wifi extenders. The salesman said it used to but apparently Apple changed it.

If you have Apple devices there is not a better router to connect all your devices so that you can seamlessly screen share etc on all devices

Should have bought this base station some time ago. Streaming photos and music is fast and clear. I highly recommend this Apple product.

I have a 3 story house. I have the Apple airport on the second floor and I have excellent coverage throughout the house. Purchase well spent

The wireless router is great in terms of good wifi range, has a long range outside the house as well, have closer to 8+ devices connected, works excellent

This Apple router is great. I have all Apple products and a lot going at once. This helps maintain optimal WiFi for my house.

The AirPort Extreme is great. It works with both my mac and my son's dell which is in another room.

connectivity isn't much better than my previous wireless router

I got this router because our Uverse gateway leaves several dead spots in out house. So far we have steady consistent coverage inside all areas of out house.

Installed at home because my son was gaming a lot and was being "kicked off" the internet connection. This cured all our connection issues.

Apple wifi is the best, seamless integration with multiple routers makes it much easier to cover a big house and even outside patio.

I bought Airport Extreme base station as a replacement of my Linksys router (3 years old). I just connected the airport extreme and it took more than 3 hours to complete the set up. Finally I did it and worked good for a day. Second day the wifi signal was dropped and I restarted the airport. Again it worked good for a day. Also, the signal was too bad apart from living room, where the airport extreme placed. I struggled with this router for a week time and I changed to my old Linksys router, and it worked good. So I returned the airport extreme to the store. After reading much reviews I bought Netgear and it is good for me.

This was purchased as a wireless access point for my 4,000 sq. ft. home. It provides great service from end-to-end for all of our devices.

I've slowly transitioned to all Apple products because of the ease of use and reliability. This Airport does not stray from that line. I highly recommend.

This may or may not be a great product but if you are crossing over from Windows to use this get ready for some work. In my factory sealed box there were NO instructions on how to install this router. Sooo... after setting the whole thing up, I had to take it all down in order to reinstall my old router so that I could find instructions on the Apple website. Good luck! I tried to do it on my phone first but no go. Long story short, after calling Apple Support it hooked up fine but then the fun started when I began connecting the peripherals. Never got them working satisfactorily. It's back in the box and on its way for a return to Best Buy. I'm going to stick with something made for Windows. And as for Apple, you only get one time to make a good first impression.

My non Apple router gave out so I went with this one and have no regrets works excellent with all my Apple gear. Highly recommended.

Airport Express didn't give enough WIFI coverage. AirPort Extreme added enough coverage so that everything works in all parts of the house.

This is a great Wi-Fi router it got me the speeds I am supposed to be getting from Comcast I love that it has a built-in firewall
