I went searching for an all in one Router for my new home. After talking to 2 separate sales persons at Best Buy Galleria, they both recommended Apple Extreme Router with a separate modem. After hooking up the Router and Modem at my house I do seem to have a strong signal at all times. I also have not experienced any loss of connections when connected to my network.

I bought this to replace a 2007 Apple Airport Extreme base. It works so much faster than my previous and was well worth the expense. I am an Apple guy so I like the ease of use and set up, though I did have a couple issues setting up this router. The biggest issue I have is the price. I know I could get a better router with more features for less money, but sometimes it is just easier to go with the Apple version and limit the complexity.

I had to replace my 2+ year old router because I couldn't get reception at one end of my house. Not only do I get better signal on the main floor, I receive it in the far corners of my basement. Very easy to set up, I'm extremely satisfied!

I'm not the smartest when it comes to networking, but I have some knowledge of it. I had a linksys router and I wanted to extend it with another router. I had no idea how to do that. But I plugged my AirPort Extreme in and used my Mac it was a breeze to set up and I bought a airport express to add on to it. My mac found it and set it up with a few clicks.

Has strong and long range. Was easy to setup. Worth it.

Purchased this router because my old router was out dated ... An individual in mobile helped me with it.. Told me it was easy to setup.. Great product and compared the other competitor products against apple for me based on his knowledge At the end of the day it was cost , ease of setup and meeting my needs It was great recommendation by the best buy employee

Very simple setup, great coverage,amazing throughput. It only has the features you need in a router and nothing more or less. Wifi AC on Google fiber is a must, giving you speeds over 400mbps on wifi! Once again another great Apple product

For too long, I've been getting 20mbps download speed with my old Comcast modem/wireless router on wifi. Plugged this baby in and now I'm reaching 50mbps download speeds on WIFI! yes! I'm actually getting the speed I'm paying for! Even though download speed from ISP are rated if you plug a Ethernet cable, but who does that nowadays?? Best Router Ever! Before: 22mbps DL, 4mbps UPL After: 51mbps DL, 6mbps UPL Cost: $185 (price match) Now I can run wifi on my Apple TV, several smartphones, and two Desktops in a 3 story home with no issues. Side note: I can catch a wifi signal one block down from the house; no joke

I have owned the two previous gen's and this one has given me even better range, very fast consistent speed test and strong signals. I'm also using a time capsule to extend to the opposite side of my house. Highly recommend.

I have multiple devices on my home network used intermittently and some dead spots that my current ISP provided router could not get to. This router solved those problems plus maximizes and levels out the Mbps I get through my plan. Signal speed average increased 5% pretty consistently.

After owning many Linksys routers in the past and then using the Actiontec routers supplied by Verizon Fios for most of my existence, I decided to buy the AirPort Extreme due to it's Wireless AC capabilities. Knowing that a lot of the things I currently own and things I will be acquiring in the near future will be using the Wireless AC standard I decided to make the purchase because there's no way Verizon is going to supply me with such technology. my iMac and my 4K tv both utilize the Wireless AC capabilities and connection speeds are quick without interruption. All my other devices that still use the wireless N standard also work with the router! One of my favorite features is being able to configure the router using the Airport Utility. I hate having to change router settings through a web browser.

I'm an Apple guy but I was hesitant about purchasing this product as I didn't see the need for it as I thought I would be good with my Xfinity modem/router. I was told I would b getting the Blast package at 75mbs but after install I was only getting 20mbs, the tech said that was probably all I can get in my area. I went to Best Buy and got this just to see if it made any difference and boy did it. First off the install can be done by a toddler, literally! And within minutes of install I did a Speedtest and my network was popping off 90mbs!! Signal is strong all over my house running various iPads, Macs and IPhones at the same time with no lag whatsoever and it is also a beautiful piece of machinery as well...highly recommend it!!!

I'll keep it short. I have owned just about every brand of wireless router made. All previous routers required to be restarted on average every 10 days or the signal would be slow or no signal at all. We've had the Apple router for about 8 months and have yet to have any issues. Signal is consistent and fast. Liked it so much, I bought one for the office.
