Product worked as described, however, I am wondering if a non-Apple router might have done the same. I bought this mainly because I just about all of my product are Apples.

Good thing I bought the geek squad insurance for this because my first one kept dropping signal. They replaced everythjng for free and second one works fine. 1st one May have overheated. Don't know.

We went with the Apple brand with the expectation that it would be a decent product! After using the product only 1 year the fan starting making a loud noise that would not quit. Unfortunately, there was no warranty and we did not purchase an extended warranty. Didn't think we needed to since we were buying what we thought was a decent product. We are now headed out to buy a new one this weekend. We can no longer tolerate the fan noise! Needless to say we will not buying the Apple brand again!!!!!

I am not using ac connection. There is at least a daily dropped connection that requires a hardware reset. The range (for 'g') is about the same as previous router (limited). Not worth the cost.

Bought to boost my wifi service thru my home. Just did not work. No pick up in signal sent from modem. I have Fios so maybe it does not work with this service. But, I did return this item

Easy to install and connect to all devices except our Samsung HDTV. Still investigating done steaming concerns for that TV.

Ran hot and the fan became loud and noisy. Cleaned, dusted, took it to the Genius Bar, no resolution, finally died after 8 months.

After struggling with my internet speed for the past 2 years, my first hiccup was poor wiring into my house which my cable company finally resolved. Following that fix, I continued to have speed issues. When one pays for 250 Mbps download speed but can only eke out a meager 60 Mbps, then there's a problem. I started with my older trusty Linksys and then tried the lesser model Apple Airport router with little improvement and followed up with a Belkin with not much more success. Today, after reading countless reviews about the Apple AirPort Extreme, I convinced myself to bite the bullet and pull the trigger on this amazing wireless router. I am now getting to 225 and higher Mbps download speeds. It was between this product and the Netgear Nighthawk 1900 which has also gained great reviews. Ultimately, I have a very Apple friendly home and have not been disappointed with any of their products to date. As with my other Apple products, it was a breeze to setup. I am now getting the internet speed I am paying for. Best Buy customer service rep was great as well. My closest store was out of stock but the store across town was kind enough to set me aside their last unit. Thanks Best Buy and thanks Apple. One happy customer! Highly recommended!

The router is extremely easy to set up. Charter cable, with Motorola modem, approximately five minute setup. The Western Digital house wire extenders took another 45 min. Well worth the time and effort.. I have far better range then with my previous apple router, five years old and it died. My I phone 6 is blazing fast on the WiFi. My ancient I pad 2,Kindle, Mac book pro, and I phone5 performance is unchanged speed wise with much better range.

The product does have a good signal throughout the house. However, I was told it would connect seamlessly to Microsoft products, such as Smart televisions and pc based laptops.

I'm fairly computer literate. I can unplug & plug this back in. I cannot get this item to connect to my DSL box and find an internet connection. Very frustrating

Great wifi signal with this Airport. However my internet speed slowed down significantly. Going to buy a new modem next and see if that helps things.

I bought the Airport Extreme in the hope that it would extend the range of my internet (it didn't). What did happen was that I began to get kicked off the internet sporadically, usually up to 30 seconds at a time. Finally spent over an hour with an Apple technician who had to change the channel the Extreme was using because of all the other users in the area using the same channels. Still getting kicked off, but only once a week. However, in NYC who knows when the new channel will become over-used.

Best Buy was A+ the product was a C. I use Comcast for internet and wanted to have it "stay on" longer before losing a connection. it is now longer, but still goes down.

I was having network issues and this product seemed to help. I not sure if a less expensive router would have done the same thing.

Our old router had slow internet connectivity. This is super fast. We have one older laptop that we could not get conncted to the internet with this router.

I bought this cord as a replacement.. Love Apple but wish the cords weren't so fragile or expensive! Gotta have it so it is what it is.

This wireless router exhibited the poorest 5 GHz performance of several routers I've tested. Extremely weak signal. I returned it.

Bought this because parts of my house were not accessible to my older Apple Base Station, i figured this one would change that, it didn't.

Unfortunately had to return & replace with a different brand. Had a previous version that worked great.
