I have gone through a good amount of routers and have had experience with even more. Linksys, Netgear, Belkin Etc. Nothing even comes close to owning this beast. Boosts my wifi strength beyond what my cable service provides by at least 10 mb/s. Anyone who stays away from apple products because of price or personal choices is honestly missing out in my opinion. My house is filled with apple products and I won't ever buy anything else. With my old Linksys router I always had issues with "NAT" settings and connection failure when playing online games, but ever since I got the AirPort Extreme I never have any connection problems and my NAT is always open. I would strongly recommend this product to anyone and if you don't use apple products then do yourself and everyone in your household a favor and switch to them.

I changed out the old one for this one. With the old one I had spotty signal with so much going at the same time. The signal from this one is so much better. I now have a wifi signal in my bedroom as it would go in and out with the old extreme, which was very frustrating. Works wonderfully now. So glad I swaped it out. I also have the Apple Airport Express which gives you a little more of boost. I recommend this highly!!

ISPs tend to give customers the least expensive piece of equipment to use when they hook you up. By purchasing this, along with a better modem, I was able to increase my upload/download time exponentially. And it was incredibly easy to install. I had a minor issue during the set up and calling Apple I got great help to get it going. My WiFi speed is now much faster.

This is a great router for the price. Incredibly fast, and easy to set up.

I had the previous generation AirPort Extreme, which worked great, but it wasn't making it all the way around my large apartment. After hearing about the new model having a broader range, I went out to upgrade and have been very happy with the boosted signal in my place. I'm also happy to know it is compatible with the newer generation Apple WiFi signals for faster WiFi speeds!

so this review is a few months in the making. My sister was still rocking an old-school Linksys WRT54G V3, so you all know how old that was. Even with DD-WRT firmware, modification involving a heat sink and a fan, and a nice overclock of around 40% (and still stable), she was finding her connection speeds were lagging what Comcast said she should be getting and what her computer would report when directly connected to her cable modem. I bought her one of these for her birthday, and she hasn't had a single complaint about connection speed, WiFi coverage, or even lag over XBox Live with her 360 or her One. The fact that she can use her iPhone and iPad to manage it has worked out well for me, since she complains about downloading any software to her PC (yet has no problems with "obtaining" things). Her only problem with it is I'm not there to fix her internet when it goes down, but that's Comcast's problem and not mine.

This router is easy to setup via Mac, PC, iPhone, iPad and is extremely reliable. Hook multiple together via ethernet and extending your network is extremely simple with the airport utility app. Apple has discontinued this product but still continues to support it via firmware updates.

I previously had one AirPort Extreme in my home which is all on a single level. The signal I would get on the opposite side of the house was very inconsistent and would at times be very slow when my kids would get on their iPads or we would have friends over won their kids and their electronic devices. I decided to retire the old AirPort Extreme and bought 3 new generation AirPort Extreme and set one up where the old one was on one side of the house, linked the second one in the middle of the house and linked the 3rd at the far end of the house where we often had WiFi issues. Within a 30 minute window that it took to set them all up, we now have reliable and fast wiFi throughout the whole house and the entire backyard. I would recommend this product to anyone who has an older AirPort Extreme and has a slow wifi or unreliable wifi connection. I probably over did it with getting three but I did not want to get two and then run Imari the same problems. We have sonos thought out the entire house and in the back yard so no, I can control the system from any corner of my house or back yard.

Can't say enough about the performance of this machine. Yes, it's pricey but we'll worth every penny. Going from one to no bars in the back of my house to 4 to full. Without extenders or any drops what so ever. Buy this router and you won't regret it's performance.

I set two of these up in my house, they are super easy if you have a mac becuase the application is already installed. They are nice becuase if you do not have ethernet in your house they link with each other to build a net of coverage. The down side the guest wifi while you can turn it on can not be logged into until some special things are turned off and based off of apple forums it runs the risk of the network crashing alot. In the end they are great but I would like to have the guest network but its not the end of the world.

This is one of the best router's I have owned and it produces great speeds. Only issue that I had was with my PC and the wireless connection speed but I decided to connect that 1 PC via ethernet and I am getting speeds over 200mbps. All of my other devices are Apple and they work perfectly.

This router is amazing. Previously, I was renting the comcast modem/router. I bought my own modem and then I bought this router and as soon as it was setup I already noticed an increase in speeds. This router is worth every penny. I also purchased an external hard drive and started doing the wireless backup.

I link my airport extreme and airport express together, in another word, bridge connection. very stable.

I had an older wireless modem and it seems we were resetting or restarting the modem daily! Then I did some research and saw this product. Since I use all Apple computers, phones, tablets etc., I figured I would give it a try! What a difference! The connection is superb now!!

As always with Mac products, it looks great. As far as function and performance, it is solid & reliable though there are many other routers now that perform better. I use two of these as repeaters throughout our house and an Asus RT-AC68U router as the main router in my meshed network.

Easy install, great signal range and clear signal. I really think that is one of the best hardwares on the market and the easy of use and installation makes it a very good choice for those who do not want to spend time configuring the home router.

I would recommend this product to my family. I used a previous generation of this product for several years and it began to fail, which is normal. But this product exceed my expectations and performs better than I hoped.
