a great bulletproof router at a great price!! no nonsense like other routers that you constantly have to reset over and over!! works great and wifi range cover whole house, very happy and impressed!!

I replaced an older wireless router with this Apple AirPort Extreme and am seeing obviously better coverage and speed. Setup and modification of network details are very easy, too.

I have had several routers and most are not very easy to set up. This one is the easiest one I've had. If you are an Apple fan, this will not disappoint. It found my network without any trouble and now I use this as the main router. I just turned off the wifi on my cable modem. Network speed increased as well.

my old airport died and I needed a replacement, with this one supporting ac I figured my iPhone has ac so I should pay the extra. It seems to have by far better range in my house, getting full bars where as before I would bounce between 1 and 2

Had a previous model for many flawless years. Decided to upgrade to new model. Same super easy set up. Have to say I don't really notice a difference in speed between the two models, but I haven't done a lot of file transfers computer-to-computer over wireless, so maybe that's where I'll see the difference.

Powerful enough to cover my house front to back. Printer and drive sharing are seamless. Managing is easy with the Airport Utility app in MacOS and iOS. Make sure to enable encryption and use a very long password. You can set up a separate login for guests and manage their access.

Once I hooked it up to my WiFi with a ethernet cable (not included), my apple computer immediately recognized it and walked me through the set up process. I didn't have to open one manual. It backed up my computer and two externals that was hooked up to the computer in about 10 hours which was around 1.6 TB.

Bought this after the Netgear router I bought didn't get reception all through the house. My reception is far better now, and I was even able to add a bridge after the fact to make the connection even better. Very easy to set up, especially if you have an Apple computer, not sure how easy initial set up is with a PC.

I was experiencing a gradual slowdown with my aging Belkin router. Went to local Best Buy and purchased Apple Airport Extreme to replace the old router. I was pleased with the easy set-up and the increased number of ports. This Airport Extreme also solved some wireless issues with iPhones and our printer :-)

I have had several routers in my home over the past few years. I have had Cisco and several Dlink routers. They have all started to fail after about 3 years on average. I replaced my last Cisco with this Apple router. For one it takes much less desktop space because it has a smaller footprint. Its range is also a bit stronger. I can now go out on my deck outside and I get a couple of bars more connection than before. Note this router has no directional antennas. I do have an iMac so setup was very easy. I have an android phone and windows laptops that connect to this router with no problems at all. I highly recommend this router. Time will tell if it lasts longer than my traditional 3 years or so.

I bought this along with 2 more to blast an entire mansion with strong wifi. What's great about this versus other models is that all the units are part of ONE wifi network so that when a person is out of range of one antenna, their device will connect to the next antenna on the same wifi name. great product!

Overall a great router. Able to handle multiple devices using wireless. Good range. Easy setup with Mac computer. A steep price tag considering other routers at this price range.

This is a great router it is fast with excellent range. Works well and has an easy interface.

I bought a new, larger home (about 3500 sq feet). My old home also had two airports to cover it with wifi (about 2200 sq feet) and it seemed like the signal was never quite full in certain corners of the house. In the new home, I have a prior generation Time Capsule upstairs and have now added this Airport Extreme downstairs at an opposite corner of the house. All of my various devices constantly have full wifi signal throughout every corner of the house. I even have a full signal outside in the backyard or at the jacuzzi. While it seems that the range is much better and the overall speed is quicker, I am certain that the range of a strong signal is definite much better than other routers. Love it!

This router is a no brainer if you already use Apple products. It also works ok with Windows computers but I don't think I would buy it if that was all I had. I have limited knowledge of router setup and the Airport Express makes it easy. I have 2 of these with one setup as a wired range extender.

I bought this newer version of the airport extreme to replace an older one that stopped working. It is much faster and covers more area in the house. A bit expensive but thats Apple.

Your service representative was excellent in helping me choose the right product to solve my problem and directed me to the best solution and helped me get the price match at another competitor. The product has worked just as he described and solved my problem of connectivity throughout my house.

The router works great and has excellent range, coverage and continuity. Several routers I had before this one would just stop transmitting a signal, requiring an unplug - re-plug cycle to restart the router for a signal. No such issues with this product. The only issue I have experience so far is getting the router back into operation when the ISP's signal gets disrupted and the router loses the Internet connection. Sometimes it takes several restarts of the router to recognize the Internet connect and resume normal operation. Otherwise an excellent purchase!

We upgraded from previous Airport to AirPort Extreme. As with other Apple products, setup was easy and the WiFi reception is great, eliminating previous “dead spots” in our split level home. Having ability to use two networks is also a plus. Highly recommend this product!

I replaced a Motorola router that kept losing it's signal. So far, I have not dropped offline. This router is much pricier, but most of my apple products have lasted for years and I expect this one to do the same. As soon as I can figure out how to remote into my home network, I will be elated. :-)
