The AirPort Extreme Wireless Base Station setup was literally a plug & play experience. I recently installed this in conjunction with the Express Base Station as an extension to the home office (probably wasn't necessary even, but an extremely simple addition and I'm a "better safe than sorry" type when it comes to home connectivity). At this point, in 2300ft of living space and 1200ft of shop/garage, I enjoy the fastest and most dependable wireless home network I have had. Using the AirPort Utility app on my iPhone or iPad makes it extremely easy to view or follow up to my network connection as well, I love the simple and reliable experience offered by the hardware/software combo.

In store salesman helped me set the router up but the effort failed. Apple help line got me running and the Extreme and my Express router are paired and working great.... Easier than most to set up.

I have used Apple Express routers for years and have found them easy to set up, secure and great as extenders and print servers. I finally decided to upgrade to the base station as I needed more connection options. The new base station is just as easy to set up, has greater range than my airport express and works great with all my equipment. It also has none of the WPS issues that other manufacturers have been slow to fix, I just wish that Apple would price their products better.

I wanted a dual band router and this meets my expectations. I have apple tech for everything else and this was set up with ease. all my apple products hooked up great and easy

My previous router was slower and unresponsive most likely because I live in a building with several other routers. This one is super fast and does not experience any slowness during peak times.

My wife and i recently moved house and needed to purchase a new router. We tried one brand and we could not connect, no matter what we did. We are both Apple users and found this one after reviewing quite a few. We literally just turned this on and all our devices found it immediately. We were connected in a few minutes and have had no dropped signals in the time we have had it. Its great for Mac users but i don't know how good it would be with windows.

My extreme would not work with my new smart tv so I had to buy a new extreme. The new one sent a very strong signal so I am able to use my new tv.

My previous router didn't give me internet service in several areas of my home, and was slow in others. The AirPort gives me access everywhere on my property. Even in out buildings! I love it!

I couldn't be happier with my purchase of this AEBS. Easy to set up and use. Definitely a must if you like to stream movies and play online games!

I used my iPad to run through the initial setup and everything was pretty straightforward. This router runs so solid I have never had to power cycle it and I've had for over six months now.

This router replaced my router that was unable to provide a reliable WiFi signal for the detached shop on my property. I now get a strong signal throughout the 2 story house and the separate shop building on my property. Before the I needed a range extender that brought with it complication and inconsistent performance. I also like the compact form factor and cool temperature operation compared with the previous router. This is a well engineered and designed router.

Out of the box, this was the easiest router I have ever configured. (Just keep in mind it was done via my iPad). Did not attempt to configure it via a webpage. Very fast, reliable data connection.

Finally... a wifi that actually covers a large house. Our internet devices stay connected to this wifi wherever we go in our home, instead of constantly having to switch between wifi servers.

Our old system sucked. It was always kicking me off. I have 4 people in my house playing video games, always on the our phones and computers. I have yet to be kicked off and have had all bars.

I had an older model of the Airport Extreme and wanted to upgrade for the faster speed and I was not disappointed. I am also still amazed at the ease of setting up this or any Apple product.

Great product as usual. Didn't really have to upgrade my previous base station but I wanted the newest and greatest so it did live up to what I thought. Great range great connections always.

I plugged in my new AirPort Extreme and now have fast wifi to all my Apple devices. Easy setup... minimal wires... sleek and modern looking.

Simple set up very good user especially with a Mac. Excellent signal no conflicts even with several wireless devices

I purchased based on recommendation of store associate. I have not had to purchase an extender with this wireless router. I've had to buy extenders with other wireless routers in the past.
