I purchased this after bringing back the "newest and greatest" that Linksys had to offer, which dropped the signal all the time. Love this product, very easy to set-up and very reliable connection.

This is the 2nd AirPort Extreme I've purchase since the last one I bought almost 5 years ago. Solid, easy and fast wireless. I only purchase AirPort Extreme for both coverage and performance.

I replaced an old DLink router with this Apple Airport Extreme. I was only sorry I didn't do it sooner. Admittedly we are a home with multiple Apple devices, with several on line at one time. However, the most impressive thing has been the difference in the increase in speed of all of them. Besides the performance difference, the appearance of this product can allow it to be placed in sight & it will not make a "non geek"person object. Great performance AND looks.

Love it!!! Now we have bars all over the house including outside in the back yard! It's small and effective. It was recommended by a friend and turned out to be the problem solver for us.

I don't have a lot of comments regarding this item. I bought it in hopes of increasing my bandwidth & getting more reliable, speedy streaming. I don't know if I've noticed that or not. Installation was super easy, though. And in any case, it was probably time to replace my Airport Extreme Base Station anyway - it was nearly 10 years old.

I will always use apple networking gear, never fails, easy to use, great advance features, and saves me service calls for my business, I never need to go back to a house to check the router.

Took some time to set up, not as user friendly for houses with mixed media (PC/MAC) but overall the internet cruises in our house on all devices. The MAC vs PC debate continues in our house...set up was fine for the MAC but took quite a few steps for the PC and printers.

Purchased this item because a friend recommended it after having issues streaming movies using our standard home wifi. Even though it did improve the speed and reliability (somewhat), it's a bit pricey.

We here having issues with old router. This replaced an older Apple Router that kept dropping the new wireless technology. This fixed it in a flash. Easy to set. Could not be happier.

As an all Apple household, it was natural to get an Airport Extreme when my old one died (after 6 years). These are high quality, and I get access further than any other router I've ever used. Plus the fact that it's super simple to manage, and lets you get done what you need to do. My only thing is Apple is discontinuing the line, so I know I'll eventually have to move on - but I hope it's years and years in the future.

I had asked Frontier to send me their very best WiFi router, and what they sent me didn't do any better than what I previously had, which was pathetic; and this guy went back on sale, so I used my saved up Christmas money to buy it based on what the salesperson had told me. I know that there are other devices with better specs, but to setup this guy my imac practically did all of the work (made me look like a star), and all of my family can now be online watching videos on four separate devices without any lag. In a word, Priceless.

Nearly all apple products involve wireless transfer of some sort. This is great if you want to limit your internet speeds. If you desire to actually use the gigabit connection you pay for, then you only have three (3) ports to plug into. With smart tvs, smart video receivers, gaming consoles, computers, RAIDs and external hard drives, etc. the three ports get used extremely quickly. Otherwise, it works great and I expect a greater lifespan than the other brands of routers. Bottom line: if your home/office is mostly wireless, then there is nothing better than this attractive hardware. If you require multiple wired connections to actually use the high speed internet you pay for, then you will either need to look elsewhere or purchase a hub in addition to this device.

So far, so good. Apple delivers excellent products. This is used with my Airport Time Capsule and they work very well. Setup was a breeze.

Strong signal throughout my house from way down in the garage. It is connected to the same router from Verizon that couldnt reach the upstairs bedroom. Download Speeds are awesome.

I purchased this router a couple of months ago and I have not been disappointed with it yet. It was easy to install and setup. I would recommend this to anyone needing a good home router.

This product has saved me from pulling out my hair. Former wireless routers continue to fail and this one was easy to install, works fantastic and picks up all of our wireless devices!

When you look at its hefty price, you may not like it. But once you try it, you'll wonder why you ever had anything else for your home.

I have had several wireless routers in the past and this is by far my favorite one. The performance is much better when going through multiple walls. I had so many problems with my other routers keeping good signal strength because of where it has to be on our house. This router has none of the problems I have had in the past. Worth the extra money for sure.

Very easy set up. Wished there was 1 or 2 more Ethernet jacks as our house has structured wiring and is wired connection would be preferred. Also wished the profile was slimmer and provided the abilitiy to mount it to a wall.
