I replaced the router provided by my service provider as it was not providing coverage in my entire house (approx 3000 sq ft on 2 levels). After my research and many recommendations, I decided to buy Apple Airport Extreme. While there is marked improvement in the performance of the wifi, there are still some areas where the network is not that strong. Granted that these are corners of the house but they are within 30-40 feet of the router. I was expecting that each and every corner of the house would get full strength signal but that's not the case. However, the speed is still very good and it is much better than the previous router (which was also new).

This wireless modem performs very good. I have a tri-level home and there is no loss of signal anywhere in the house.

Easy to set up. Adequate signal strength for a 2,800ft^2 house. My 2nd purchase of this same unit. For some reason after 1.5,years original one stopped working

This Apple product is simple to set-up and has good range.I have not tried to go the full 300 feet (across the street) but it is working fine around our home.

Probably one of he best Wi-Fi Base Stations for your residence. Sets up easy and gives a huge range of accessibility. And of course  has an App that allows you to help with set up and to see what devices are connected to your Wi-Fi. It’s a shame that  is putting this item to rest. So get one while they last. You won’t be disappointed.

Has nice speed even with multiple devices connected, even when streaming video. My only complaint is that the signal coverage area is not larger than the Airport Extreme Base Station I purchased 10 years ago like the salesman indicated. I still have to use another device to extend te coverage area.

Great packaging as,usual for Apple. The set up is easy using an iPhone. I use mine with another router inside my gateway modem so I'm using the Airport Extreme as a bridge. I'm experiencing faster speeds than I had before so we are very happy with the router. If you have a mac you can adjust more advance features than other reviews said you could not adjust. I would highly recommend this product to anyone.

Love apple products and this one is not an exception. Easy to set up and use. Upgraded after the last one slowed down and had that one for about 8 years.

Easily connect all my Apple products and give somebody boosted Wi-Fi signal into all Apple products and delivered fast speeds to all of them at the same time.

This was a very easy set-up. What I really liked is I was able to set up my router with my iPad. However, ensure you get the Airport Utility App to do it.

Purchased a new Airport router because our other one died. This one is bigger an better than the other one. Pretty much plug and play and it works great!

The new AirPort Extreme is simply amazing. After fighting with Verizon FIOS for more than a year about not getting nearly the speed rating I'm paying for every month, I am finally getting over 75 Mbps download speed with the new AirPort Ext. Aside from noticeably extending range, it's a must have when speed really does matter.

Felt it was time to replace my older "spaceship" Airport Extreme. This new Airport Extreme has the quality one would expect of a quality Apple product. I could have spent less for a some other brand of router but often they present problems that Apple products don't have. I am happy with the product, the ease in setting it up and the 1.3 GB per second speed.

This Apple product is the best router ever. It's a little pricey, but it's worth the money. I would suggest this product to anybody buying a new router.

Best router yet. Works well into my back yard where I had previously had to use an extender with lesser results. Excellent product with Apple expected quality.

Great product... had to call Apple support to get the thing connected...problem was my modem. Now works great and is much faster than old Apple Extreme.

The set up on this system is simple and in plain English. No need to figure out what the heck a "subnet mask" is!

I love this router. No problems easy to install. Since I had a external hard drive already I purchased this router to share the hard drive on my network.

Reliable AC wireless with a simple management interface. I try new routers periodically, get annoyed and come back to Airport. If you reallly need (and most people don't) complex firewall rules you should look elsewhere, but for most people this is still great value. Excellent range, stable coverage and steady updates. And still the best looking router around.

Super easy setup.. plug and play! Wi-fi range is outstanding. Pricey but well worth it. Would totally recommend.
