Speed and reliability are far above competition. Very easy set up and works great.

I've use other brands of wifi routers which pale in comparison. You can plug it in, configure it, and forget about it. It is always on and works great.

Setup is REALLY easy! I'm only still typing because you need 50 characters. I'd recommend this to anybody!

I purchased the current Airport Extreme Base Station as a replacement for a unit that failed after 6+ years. Because I was familiar with the Airport Extreme, I had an advantage. Using the Apple Airport Utility, it was simple to install the new router, configure it, password protect it and get up and running. The only setbacks were related to needing to re-install the printers and other legacy hard drives etc. connected to the network. That process was less intuitive and a bit confusing but I was able to succesfully get components if my network up and running.

I have a lot of problems with my internet company about the signal till I found this router, it's great!!!!!!!!

I had the previous generation of Apple Airport Extreme, I figured it was time for an upgrade. My current broadband that I'm paying for is 100m download and 5m upload. Previous wireless speed test got me half of that. When I upgraded to this model (current generation), I am now receiving my full bandwidth (100m download and 5m upload) - over wireless! Keep in mind, if you want to achieve your full bandwidth, your mobile device will need to be 802.11ac compatible.

I get coverage on 3 floors in a 7,000 square foot home. Even picked up my Wi-Fi out in the street in front of my house. I plugged it into another router because I couldn't figure out how to get both Wi-Fi and direct to my Internet source that goes to my desk top computer. Now I have 2 networks in my home and I put my guests on my non-Apple network. Has never dropped out like my other Router.

We were having trouble with our signal strength and changed it out to Airport Extreme and trouble is GONE.

I bought this router after my belkin took a dump on me. I really love the way it works with all my products. My range improved, my stability improved and the amount of devices I could have on my network increased. The only Negative I have is that it is white.... can look dirty when it gets dusty.

Bought this as a gift. They love everything about it. The speed, no more monthly fees for leasing. Very pleased

If it has an Apple on it, then we know it's built with quality in mind. I was never an Apple fan, always a Windows user, until I bought one... Now I wish everyone would try to build things with such quality. I've bought 3 other Top of the Line routers, and they can't hold a candle to the quality and stability of this router. It's a MUST BUY if you want something that actually WORKS!

I needed to boost the wireless power and distance in the house. this base station allows me to use my wireless in all areas of the house. well done...

Typical Apple .... Easy to setup and use ... FAST web access ... no service interruptions (as was the case with the unit it replaced). Highly recommended.

it was so easy to set up it took care of itself. Much better reception compared to my older Wi-Fi definitely worth the money, but they are hard to find.

Never haver I set up a home network so easily with so few problems after. This router is pricey, But I think it is worth it. It depends on whether you think resetting your router on a regular basis should be the norm. I do not. I have had no problems with this product and it security. I am very happy with my choice.

This is my second Extreme base station from Apple and it's amazing. Far more range and power from the previous one. Works with multiple bands at one and all current configurations. I live in a two-story house with a fully finished garage and basement (mancave) and i'm running several devices at once and it works like a charm! No lag or issues while gaming on PS4 either! I highly recommend it.

This is a great router for an Apple household. My internet speed has greatly increased and no longer do I have a router that drops signal causing frustration.

I was having some signal strength issues at our house so I bought this airport extreme to replace our older airport extreme. Both the apple store folks and the best buy people said it would give a stronger signal than our current unit. I figured worse case scenario if it didn't I could still link the new unit to our old unit and move the older unit to the area with a weaker signal. Ultimately, the signal is slightly stronger but not necessarily worth the extra money I spent given that our older unit worked just fine. Though, as with most other Apple products it was very easy to set-up. I may just follow apple guidelines to link the two units to get a stronger signal.

Airport products are by far the easiest to set up. Now using an Airport Extreme in combination with an Express, I have coverage all over the house.
