I’m not sure why people say this product sucks? I’ve been using it for awhile and love the way it works and has never fails me yet

Needed a new access point with both wired (1 WAN, 3 LAN ports) and fast wifi (g/n/ac). Installed in under 3 minutes. Super fast.

Admittedly, I am a huge fan of Apple and their products. But this router does everything it should. It's easy to setup and it's really fast. I have several of these in my home and I recommend them to everyone. These are great to use in any home with any product. If you use Apple computers, iPhones, iPads, etc, look no further. This is the router for you.

Got this to replace the old AirPort Extreme. Talk about a world of difference! I now have extra airport expresses because the signal is that much better.

Easiest router I've ever set up. I had 2 computers, 2 phones, 2 ipod touches, a TV and a roku all set up in about 10-15 minutes. The speed is very good but I was expecting more in terms of range. I have a 2600 sq ft ranch with the router currently set up on one side of the home in an office and if I'm in the bedroom on the other side (virtually no walls in-between) I don't get a full signal and if I'm on the back patio the connection is spotty. It's definitely an upgrade over my netgear but I'm likely going to need to set this up in the middle of my home to maximize it's potential and that kind of defeated the purposed of upgrading to this router.

Tried three "extenders" and all failed or did very poorly out of the box. The APPLE unit worked near instantly. Wish I had tried it first!!!

This is my first Apple router and I must say its best best one I ever had! Aside from the minimalist design, the performance is money well spent!

We needed something to boost our coverage in the basement. This is excellent for it. It was not easy to get it working but it is working now.

This was the best money I have ever spent super fast and my wife can do her homework outside it works flawless in over 5,000 sq feet threw walls..

Due to the large area the router was to cover I was a little leary about it not being able to cover the needs but it has done a wonderful job.

It was definitely worth the cost of purchasing, versus renting. Works much better than any of the rented equipment and you can take it with you.

I bought this to replace an Apple Time Capsule, which I still use as wireless back up only, the time capsule was Wireless N/G and not 1000mbps capable. I upgraded my internet service to AT&T Fiber Gigapower which is advertised up to 1000Mbps. I wanted a new AC router capable of this speed so I bought the AirPort Extreme. I am very happy with it, looks great, easy setup over airport utility app as usual, and works with no problems. Speed over wifi on 2.4 Ghz channel is still what you would expect with older routers, but the 5.4 Ghz channel which is the channel that allows for AC wireless speeds tops out around 325Mbps on wifi on an IPhone, even through one wall. The upload speed is closer to 450Mbps, and connected directly to a computer via Ethernet gets much closer to 1000Mbps upload and download. Wifi speed is faster with a newer MacBook Pro than the iPhone, possibly because of a better wifi antenna or network card than an iPhone.

Excellent router! Solved my router signal issues. I would recommend this to anyone with similar weak signals from their router.

This is my second AirPort Extreme purchase. This device is easy to set up, easy to reconfigure, and easy on the eyes! Very much recommended.

The Apple base station works extremely well and we have excellent wireless coverage within our home.

AirPort Extreme has been more reliable than I had hoped for. I bought for my home in Hawaii and installed it early Sept. It hasn't failed yet!

Easy set up and strong signal. Coverage great in 5k+ house. Nice clean style.

I am a avid fan of all things Apple I have not been disappointed yet. This device carries a very Strong signal throughout the Loft it's Great.

I've had this router for two months now and its performance has been top drawer. Signal strength is very good -- I even get a strong signal when sitting on my outside deck. Installation via my iiMac was a snap using the airport utility. I am running 6 devices without any issues. Finally, and certainly not a reason to purchase this router, it looks great sitting on your desk top.
