My time capsule crapped out, so I needed a new router for the house. Super easy to set up and is working well with all my wireless devices.

I love the Apple wireless! It is amazing the signal strength and range compared to a Linksys or the free ones you get from your internet provider.

I purchased one unit for home and work and now we have no devices that are getting kicked offline. A must for multiple devices

Works out of the box! If you have Mac don't need to install software on your laptop to configure! If you have Windows you have to download and install Airportextreme configuration software on your Windows laptop - this is the only negative point but you are buying Apple product!

this is one of the best routers I've ever had it is excellent for a home or for a small business will work wonders,pretty easy set up by the way.

This is the 2nd one of these I've purchased for myself - I've also purchased a number of these for clients. Given how intuitive Apple's software is, the device practically configures itself and has great range and power. Purchasing this is a no-brainer. I would buy another one in a heartbeat.

I am all in on Apple ecosystem and proud of it, had an older Airport Extreme that even though 7 yrs old still working fine, when I heard Apple was getting out of the router business decided to upgrade to their last version of the Airport Extreme, like the reviews before me said easy set up great performance and here it comes "It Just Works"!

I use the airport extreme for my photography business. Transferring images wirelessly from my from camera to computer using 802.11 g. Then from our computer to our iPads running fotoShout software (fotoShout.com) using 802.11 n. It works well in all locations, solid connection, fast, easy to setup.

This router is great so far. Hasn't dropped connection yet at all. My old one dropped connection at least once a month. It looks nice as well.

I bought this unit to replace an aging Netgear R7000. The coverage is basically identical to the Netgear and it just works. I am disappointed that Apple got out of the WiFi hardware business because their products are reliable and last. I can also attach a disk drive to the USB2 port and use it for TimeMachine from all of my devices. I prefer this to the Time Capsule because the hard drive in the time capsule is a pain to replace when it goes dead. Buy one while they still are available.

The apple port did the job. We tried a few others and they didn't work. This one was the charm.

Setup was a breeze with the airport app! No need for a computer to setup this adaptor! Range is outstanding no more dead spots in our house!

This base station is easy to setup as most Apple hardware is, but the trade off is it takes away many of the detailed options that some might require or need. There is still ways to access those options, it's just not that easy. Setup is easy, the signal strength is great, and these thing are almost as plug and play as you can get.

Consistent with Apple quality and design. I will also get the Airport Express to extend the range.

Such an amazing device connects to all my Apple devices so quickly and simple. Internet runs really fast! Worth every penny

Gives strong coverage to the whole house (two story). I'm not using all the features it has, but it is nice to have a guest network available.

The AirPort Extreme is great. Setup couldn't be easier. Plug it in and open airport utility app. And faster then you can read this review you are up and ready to go. Setup a guest network if you so choose. Or extend your network with another unit or an airport express. Also has multiple wifi bands so it compatible with all you wireless products.
