Upgraded from older apple base router to get latest maximum speeds and protocols. Works Great!! Easy setup for Mac users!

Replaced 2 Cisco EA4500 router with this one. The greater range allowed for just one router to be needed in the house. Very easy to set up. All kinds of devices are connected form game consoles (XBOX 360, PS3, Wii) to Windows laptops, PCs, iMac, MacBook, iPhone, iPads, iPod touches, DirecTV, HP printers and scanners, TVs, and Blueray players.

I tried the smaller version of this thinking it would work fine, but it did not. I then went back and got the Airport Extreme. I could not be happier! The range and power of the router is amazing. It was very easy to set-up and to get a guest network up and running. I would highly recommend this product to anyone.

Overall just great! Plugged it in and had it up and running and connected with everything in the house in just minutes.

This one much better that last one. Don't get the one got before it was terrible.

This is by far one of the simplest routers to install. Use this be a big fan of LINKSYS routers, but this APPLE product was by far superior. I was looking to extend my WIFI range, And I was very surprized when I found it had doubled my range, I have GREAT coverage approx. 100 feet around the outside of my house.

I was a little worried because there has been some press saying the Apple was getting out of the router/access point business. Even if that happens, I couldn't overlook the convenience of the Apple ecosystem and the compatibility benefits. I purchased this to expand an existing Airport network built around a Time Capsule. I considered some of the new mesh devices, but for the price I was able to get this and cover the same range for much less cost. Set up only hit one speed bump and the system has worked perfectly ever since.

I am not a huge fan of Apple but when it comes to an easy to configure, well built router. This is the one I always chose.

Setup is a breeze. Connection is rock solid. Product build quality is great just like most apple products.

This wireless router is the best out there. Works flawlessly even with 10+ devices wirelessly connected to it. Would buy again!

I had problems all the time in my home and office, Once I installed this I have great signal while using multiple devices.

I've used an Apple Airport Extreme for 5 years and when we moved into our new home which is more spread out than our old home was at first it seemed to work, though slow on downloads. My wife uses her Apple Mini IPad to read Library books so she needs to have a strong internet signal from our home network. We tried one Range Extender which simply didn't do the job. After talking with a Geek Squad member at Best Buy, when we returned to range extender that didn't meet out needs, he suggested the new Apple Airport Extreme and then to use my old Apple Airport Extreme as an extender. I couldn't seem to get it set up right so I called in Geek Squad. The young Geek Squad man got it set up quickly and then began moving my old Airport around to various locations and then checking it signal strength with my wife's Apple Mini IPad until he found the optimum location for the strongest signal. It turned out to be upstairs and now my wife can sit on the patio by the pool, or anywhere else in the house, and read her books on her IPad. Downloads to my Apple Notebook were noticeably faster and have remained so every since. Great products and a plug and forget system!

Replaced my Airport Express with this for better range in a larger home. Reaches all areas of 2700 sq ft house from the basement. Only wish it had an audio output like the Express so I could still airplay audio directly to my stereo receiver.

Regardless if you are a regular Apple user or not, this is a powerful wireless router that is extremely easy to setup.

This was suggested by a BB employee to help speed up our wi-fi. It has worked great. It was also very easy to set-up.

I love his router, I now download movies in 2 mins. But I will say the only downside is the 5ghz ac channel desnt connect to all devices. But since I set it up with both channels my roommates all connect to the 5ghz channel and it frees the bandwidth up on the 2.4 ghz channel. So all in all, I think this was an excellent buy.

We need a new router and something we could set up with out a computer. It was very easy to set up just had to download the app to my iPhone then it took only a few seconds to set up. We run 8 different devises off it and the speed is great twice as fast as my old router. If you own Apple products this is a great accessory for you

Love using all apple products. So far so good! Just upgraded to this new one since we had the older version/model. Nothing really has changed. It will all depend on your internet provider and the location you live in to get the best service.

Bought this for my Dad since his internet was always buffering. This has made a huge improvement! Highly recommend this!
