A router that works and doesn’t goto he’ll right away. I used this to extend my network into the basement off an AirPort Extreme I had upstairs. Extremely easy to set up and much more reliable then my providers modem WiFi.

This is my second AirPort Extreme, easy to set up, and works great. It's been reliable unlike every router I've owned in the past, very seldom does it require a restart. It is currently paired with a Netgear CM600 Cable Modem.

This is a great Apple router. The range on this bad boy is amazing! It was easy to set up and since my house all uses Apple products, we were able to link up to the router with ease. This is yet another great Apple product that I recommend for others to buy.

I bought the new Airport base station to replace my 5th generation Airport Extreme. I upgraded with the understanding my internal network speed would be drastically faster. Installation was a breeze! I set it up with my iPhone in a few minutes and was up and running in no time. All my devices show strong signal with no disconnects. I read some reviews complaining that they did not get any internet speed increase, these people fail to understand the new technology. The router promises larger throughput inside your network not faster internet speeds. Internet speeds are ISP dependent.

We love our Apple airport!! Since purchasing it our internet speeds have increased especially when streaming movies and downloading music. You definitely get what you pay for, I regret trying to save $20 and buy a less expensive model. Always better if you can just buy the best one on the market with the best reviews! I had purchased one of the earlier editions of the airport and that thing is about 6 years old and still works but we moved into a larger home and that airport model didn't cover the square footage the signal wasn't as strong so we had to upgrade. My husband is all about android and windows and the airport (even being made by Apple) makes the Windows PC wireless signal being sent to it super strong and without interruptions so it's totally compatible for Windows as well.

Comparing this vs the previous model, I don't see a major improvement in performance. If you have newer devices that are compatible with 802.11ac, it may be worth considering.

Went to BB to get a new router because the one I had was outdated and couldn't handle the workload. The BB tech pointed me to this and I am very happy with the performance. I noticed and increase in overall speeds and range.

I just moved into a larger house and 1 wireless router would not cover the entire house. I purchased 2 additional extremes and they now blanket my house with wifi. Just powered them up, opened the app and in 5 minutes they were online.
