My Apple Airport extreme is replacing the original Apple airport and I think it works somewhat better.

The Apple AirPort Extreme Base Station works perfectly and is a dependable product. It has excellent range and works flawlessly.

The initial hook up was a challenge; maybe because I'm not the most tech-savvy. But once I got it going, the download speeds for all my devices increased exponentially! Another 5 star Mac product!

Apple products usually don't disappoint and this product is no exception. This is by far the easiest wireless router I've ever set up. As a matter of fact.. I set is up with my iPhone! I plugged in the internet cable, chose the network on my phone(inside settings) named the network, chose my password and DONE! No buffering or speed lag and great range. Don't waste your time with any other router. Boom.

This base station is wonderful for Apple products and any other wireless products. It covers a great distance and is super fast!

The airport extreme has great range and is extremely easy to set up. My iPhone and Macbook were able to quickly connect and I can not have Wi-Fi all over my house.

This router is extremely powerful and worth every penny. It is one of several I have in an older building and the coverage area is amazing. i am using it with the Moyorola modem that came out a few months ago ($129) and the wifi speeds are off the hook....

Apple -AirPort Extreme Base station was a good product to purchase. It's signal works well with apple television, Western Digital's MyCloud, as well as the Apple hard drive back up. This router was a simple installation, and strong signal throughout the home. Connection speed is adequate to view VUDU movies in High definition from across the home. Obviously We would recommend this product to those who have apple products around the home.

I have struggled with finding the right router. I found myself purchasing a new router every year with the mindset that the next one will be the last. I have bought all kind of brands like Cisco, Asus, and Netgear. Almost every unit has failed after a year and I found myself sick and tired of replacing a wifi router so often. I built up the courage to drop the $185 on this unit and I will tell you it is WELL WORTH IT. I'm tech savvy and know how to set up routers and this one is SIMPLE. It's clear when there is a good connection and no confusion. I haven't had an issue since I bought it.

Nice improvement from previous model. The setup is simple. Range is good even in crowded location and fairly maintenance free

replaced my apple airport to see if it would improve speeds. Right after a two minute install I was up and running as most Mac products do.

I have had my current (2nd gen) extreme for 5 years and it still works great(donated it to a friend) So when the new one came out with AC i had to get it. And I love it. WIFI is something you use everyday so you should have a quality and reliable one.

Great and seamlessly fit in as extension to my prior AirPort Extreme. I did have some questions about a new modem, cable TV, multiple wireless and ethernet XBox system linking, guest networks. Apple care offered to help me with everything and would not hang up until everything worked perfectly. I was blown away. Cool thing I found out is that using your iPad is the easier way to do network setup.

I was using the last generation of the Airport extreme and when it died I upgraded to this one. I have definitely noticed an improvement especially with my wireless devices. They connect quicker and run faster with this version of Airport. Great buy!

I had looked at the Airport Extreme several times, finally made the purchase - well worth the $$'s. Have a Macbook Pro, couple of iPhones and iPads in the house, connection was a breeze and much improved wifi speed!! even with comcast cable internet!!

I recently made this purchase and it has been a wonderful buy. It was easy to set up and my apple products connected with it easily.

I BOUGHT THIS AS AN ADDITIONAL WIFI SIGNAL BOOSTER. I POSITIONED IT BETWEEN THE UPSTAIRS END OF MY HOUSE AND THE DOWNSTAIRS AIRPORT TIME CAPSULE. THIS IS DEFINITELY WHAT THE DR. ORDERED TO BOOST THE WIFI SIGNAL ON THE OTHER END OF THE HOUSE!!!!!

Our iPad and iPhones would not consistently connect to the cable modem Wi-Fi although our PCs are perfectly happy with that signal. This Apple to Apple solution works great. There are probably other alternatives that would also work, but this "just works".

I really like it but it has to sit outside my IT closet because of it shape and overall size. Was easy to install and seems very efficient on both 2.5 and 5 ghz.

I love the ease of use.. I have this and the time capsule version running in my home and never had a problem with drops or slow speeds..
