I decided to replace my MacBook Air with this and a 13" iPad and I'm really glad that I did. I've been a Mac Mini fan for years, but grew tired of the old design. When I saw this new one, I immediately snapped one up. I love the small footprint, the plethora of USB-C and Thunderbolt ports and the power of the M4 and 16 gigs of RAM. At this price point, the Mac Mini is an absolute bargain. It's super quiet, blazing fast, and will last for years. I do not care that the power button is on bottom, I put mine to sleep and rarely turn it on anyway.

Its fast and small offering great performance for the price. The built in speakers are pretty good despite the size. You need to use an HDMI to thunderbolt (USB type C) for most monitors as a thunderbolt to thunderbolt created issues for me. The monitor would randomly flicker. This problem was solved by getting the correct cable. Not the computers fault. Only comes with power cable no display cable whatsoever. No USB ports only thunderbolt so be sure to buy adapter cable if your not intending to use an apple mouse and keyboard or USB type c mouse and keyboard. You can also play lower end/ older games decently well. This is a great computer. I would recommend it to someone who enjoys the mac OS over windows but doesnt want to pay macbook prices.

I recently set up Clawdbot on the new M4 Mac Mini, and I’m blown away. I was previously running it on a gaming laptop with an NVIDIA RTX 3060, but the M4 Mac Mini is actually performing better. The most impressive part is the 'always-on' capability. Even when the screens are off and the Mac is 'sleeping,' Clawdbot stays perfectly responsive in the background. It handles the processing effortlessly, stays completely silent, and uses way less power than my laptop ever did. It took longer than expected to arrive, but it was worth it. I upgraded my old iMac 2017 to this Mac mini. I'm impressed by how fast I can do my job now. It doesn't take too much space. I bought a dock to give it more ports.

This user-friendly model is a tiny giant, fast and functional. I have been a Mac guy since 1986, and this workhorse of a mini machine has a tiny footprint but awesome functionality. At an amazing low price, it's truly a bargain.

This is the machine everyone was raving about for the Claud OpenClaw with Homebrew open source kit. It's probably the most basic config I ever bought a Mac for. I would strongly advise going the with 32gb RAM if you still can (shortages during this review). Regardless, if you got hit with the API up-charges using Claude Opus and switched to Ollama for local models rather than API calls then this unit still works great on 16-24gb config for basic agentic local tasks: emails, iMessage, calendars, bookings, browser, etc. This little powerhouse can run 27/7 allowing agents to run cleanup tasks over night too. I'm now running 7 agents on this unit and 2 are running complex data sets for GPS route optimization of commercial fleet courier drivers with 22 end users via SMS text message. Non-AI Agentic Review: If you bought this Mac for anything other than AI agentic setups; like personal computing or business applications then you will find that it's the most capable multi-task Mac machine you ever owned that runs at light speed at an incredible price.

I liked how compact the computer is. I can place it anywhere in my desk. Overall performance 4 out of five. There are some apps like Page that when I print something and then I want to print something again I will have to exit the app and go in again but maybe thats a appt bug.

I have had other Mac Mini's but this one is the best. Fast, small and powerful. Love it!

My wife was looking for a replacement for her old M1 iMac. I told her “hey we have a keyboard, monitor, and Magic Trackpad so why not a Mac mini?” So that’s what we did. This M5 processor is a beast! Totally blows her old iMac away. One thing *I* really like about her new mini is the number of USB-C ports. No need to use the usb hub that the iMac required.

This is the third one of these we have bought for our business. It works great and doesn’t take up any space.

First mac mini I have ever owned. Got it on sale at Thanksgiving, but would even buy at full price. Cool, smooth and fast. While my Macbook Air M1 remains my most often used device, this one also doubles as a headless streamer into my DAC. Pity the new macOS versions don’t allow the Lossless Switcher app to automatically switch bit rate though.

The new Mac mini with the M4 chip is seriously impressive. It’s incredibly fast for everyday tasks, multitasking, and even more demanding workloads like photo editing and light video work. Everything feels smooth and responsive. The 16GB of memory makes a big difference, especially if you keep multiple apps open. It stays silent and cool, which is something I really appreciate compared to traditional desktops. The only downside is the 256GB storage—it fills up quickly, so you may need external storage if you work with large files. But overall, for the price and performance, it’s one of the best compact desktops available right now.

The best price for performance you can get. Now it is a daily driver for me without using much power compared to my much more expensive gaming PC. Honestly just buy it at this point, the prices of ram and storage is only going up so the future M5 version of this can only be more expensive. I paired it with a 2TB external drive
