I've been a PC person since the 70's. As of June '25, I finally became a Mac user. Don't shy away some it's compactness. Processing is fast. Video is sharp, crisp. The audio is very impressive. The M4 can also support most Google apps, and with a 3rd party product, you can run windows apps. YouTube videos can provide lots of help. I used cloud services to copy PC data files to the M4. Warning: The M4 does not come with any input devices. I connected an existing keyboard and mouse. But have upgraded to the latest Logitech S series mouse and keyboard. I'm thinking about a touchpad. I've added a expansion device with additional USB ports, a 2nd HDMI port, NVMe port, and micro sim card slots. Overall, the Mini M4 is a great "starter" system, containing more power than most users will ever need. Customize it for you particular needs. And the Mini is so quiet. No loud PC fans.

Small machine great power, using it as a mobile photo / video editor. Haven’t had any issues. Do everything over a 10gb usbc Ethernet adapter and my work pipelines be clear. Using proxies for video editing instead of it suffering through 4k videos

Amazing little machine. I this does everything I need to do from Photo editing, video editing, and other tasks it does it all seamlessly. For the price it’s hard to beat this Mac Mini M4 when it’s on sale. The one thing I recommend doing is getting an external nvme ssd enclosure and using an external 1-2 tb nvme ssd. That’s the only thing this little pc lacks is storage. Other than that it’s perfect.

Small but mighty. Needed to replace an older Mac desktop computer. Reviewed and compared the iMac vs Mac Mini options. Already had a large monitor. This unit was the more powerful better value. Smaller desktop footprint. But requires a hub or dock to expand ports and add potential memory.

The M4 Mac mini is a very impressive machine. Performance 10/10. This machine is capable of running pro audio and video applications. It's gaming capable outside of the macOS ecosystem using the crossover application. The new design is definitely an improvement from the previous. Some owners aren't happy with the placement of the power button. It doesn't bother me at all. The only suggestion that I would give to Apple; it's time to leave 256GB storage in the past. Other than that, no complaints. Very happy with my purchase. Just a suggestion to other buyers that get the base model, purchase a thunderbolt NVME enclosure and NVME SSD. You can change your home folder location to the external NVME to save space on the internal storage.

I love how portable the Mac Mini is. I purchased as a replacement for my MacBook. Also purchased a portable monitor. Works great and quite a bit less expensive than a laptop. Only drawback - always has to be plugged in. I’m going to have to check out portable power.

This is my second Mac Mini, so obviously I’m a fan. I love the small size and overall function of these computers. I am a bit disappointed in the design vs the M2 that I have. There are multiple usb ports, but they are all usb C. You need an adapter to use a usb A flash drive - which all of mine are. Same if you happen to use a corded keyboard or mouse. They also moved the power switch to the bottom. This means you have to tilt the machine up to power it on. And they also gave the little “powered on” light a white cover so at a glance it looks like it’s on (not as bright obviously) when it’s not. I still would buy it again - no doubt. But I would have expected a newer model’s design changes to be improvements, not irritations.

Tiny yet powerful. Uses almost no energy in standby mode. Add any screen with a Bluetooth mouse and keyboard and you have an amazing machine. If you have multiple Apple products this mini Mac integrates seamlessly between all of them. Buy the cheapest model you can afford. You can always add a thunderbolt 4 usb c external drive in 2-4tb size and still come out ahead. Buy the highest ram if you plan to run 3 screens with editing and multi tasking in mind. For everyone else 16gigs of ram is plenty for multi screens and basic day to day functions. The new sequoia os is a breeze to use. If you have an Apple Watch you can use it to unlock and make purchases on your Mac if you want to bypass entering passwords all day. You can use an iPhone as a 4k video camera. Copy something on the Mac and it will paste on your connected iPhone. Transfer files seamlessly. AirDrop. iPhone mirroring. The most powerful and portable pc. It comes with one hdmi output and 2 thunderbolt 4 ports in the back to allow for triple monitor. You can also use an iPad as a monitor or any iPad and Mac as extended or main monitors. If you plan to go double or triple monitor you will need some usbc adaptor cables. You can use an hdmi cable to connect one monitor and a usb c to display port or usb c to hdmi cable found for 8$ online. You can also connect a usb c hub if you already have one to power more monitors or external devices. You will need a usb c to usb a adaptors or hubs if you have multiple non blue tooth accessories to connect. The best accessory for this Mac mini would be the new magic track pad. Best Buy also made the process seamless with excellent customer service and quick delivery.

This has been a perfect upgrade from my M1 MacBook Pro. Size, speed, and power have been amazing and that they bumped up the base specs from what they had been. And also with Best Buy quick and easy ordered online and was able to pick it up with in the hour

This iMac mini is flawless. Super fast! Easy to set up & has plenty of power to do whatever you want. The re-design is awesome too! Can't ask for more for the price. This is my second unit & will enjoy both very much. Don't hesitate to buy....you will love it too!!
