Admittedly I am NOT an Apple ‘fan-boy’, or ‘fan-person’ as you will, nor am I into the whole ‘Apple ecosystem’, BUT this is probably the best value in desktop computers right now, especially if you can find it on sale. I’ve paired mine up with 2 existing 4K monitors and an external dock with 4TB of M.2 SSD additional storage, as 256GB internal was not enough for my use, BUT was a MUCH more economical way to expand the storage. The unit itself is of the typically excellent Apple quality, and now paired with the great M4 processor and 16gb of RAM and perfectly capable integrated graphics. For 90-95% of people, this is probably all the desktop you may need, as long as you are not looking for a high-end ‘gaming system’. This will perfectly accomplish everyday computer needs and includes Apple’s very competent office software, and will run most people’s basic video and/or music editing software needs. In my profession I need to use all the major computer platforms (PC, Apple, Android, and Linux), and this is by far the best valued system I have ever purchased, and that’s saying a lot coming from Apple. If you are not used to the MacOS system, don’t be worried as Apple baby-walks you through the system, and of course it all works seamlessly (for the most part) with all their other Apple products. The only ding I give it is that the power button couldn’t have been in a more inconvenient place if you would have to call Apple support to turn it on for you. If you are looking for an affordable desktop computer that doesn’t need to play the next 10 generations of games at 8K, this is an excellent option, if not the best. Best Buy was helpful as always and met a tropical forest competitor’s sales price. Very happy with the purchase, and with BB.

Everthing about mac mini m4 is perfect. Its size, its effciency, its power. it runs all my works without slowing down. Defintively 5 stars.

I have been a long time PC owner but have always wanted to try a Mac and MacOS. I saw this Mac Mini M4 for sale at Best Buy and decided to try it out. This Mac runs great! Very fast and MacOS is a treat. I did install UTM and Windows 11 Pro to support some of my older apps, but Im going Mac all the way. Great price and great product

The best budget-performance mini desktop in the market. The only bad thing that I see, it's the storage, but you can buy an external hub.

Others have said it, and I will echo most other reviewers. As a Mac (Apple) user since 1982, this is one of my favorite Macs of all. It is one of the best values, even at the base model. Some complain the 255GB isn’t enough but iCloud storage solves that issue, or an inexpensive external SSD. With the 16GB of RAM standard, combined with all specs, it is indeed one of the best Macs for most non-power user. And, with the M4 (and Pro version), the Mini encroaches into professional territory also. Love everything about it. Specs, size, and price.

If you are looking for a small footprint, silent capable machine for daily general use I fail to see how one can go far wrong with this little gem

I giant improvement over my M1, but that is not very difficult to accomplish. The size is impressively small, but the power button is in a really dumb location, on the bottom., even though the is plenty of room on the back of the units. Apple says to just leave it on all the time, Yeah, NO. It still has the same problem that M1s do, if you connect a second monitor using an alt-mode USB-C and the computer goes to sleep you need to reboot the computer to get the second monitor to work again. (The solution is to use a Thunderbolt to HDMI cable) One of my monitors is an ultrawide monitor it gets annoying having to constantly run up to the top left to use the menu bar. Not a comment on this machine but on how Apple just does not care about the user experience. If I could develop iOS apps on Linux or Windows, I would. I am looking forward to the day I never have to use MacOS again

This little thing is powerful. It's quiet too! You can't beat the value that it offers at this price point, it processes through the day to day tasks and chews through book keeping, light video editing and heavy photo editing and then some. have yet to max it out for general tasks and also it's SO much snappier and quick when doing tasks than anything m1 and below.

Great for the value, i bought this for development IOS apps, its the cheapest option in mac for make powerful things, and deserve it, its small, quiet and great, it runs my projects and apps easily and for a great price, the best if u need a cheap powerful station for create something.

This is quite possibly one of the best tech purchases of the decade. If you already have a monitor, keyboard, and mouse the pricing on this is unbelievable to a younger me. OSX is amazing on the M platform, and 16GB of RAM base is sufficient for most home users. While the 256GB seems low, with all of the cloud storage providers I don't see filling up the storage quickly here.

What can I say the best Desktop for the money. There is nothing this can’t do. Pair it with a mini dock and orico 2tb mini mate and ur good to go. I did splurge for the track pad and that is always a great addition to any Mac setup. This is actually faster than my PC desktop running windows via paralel

The MAC mini M4 was very easy to set up, connect to my wireless router and connect to my Apple Laptop to transfer files and applications. I had no trouble bringing it up and it connected to my available keyboard and mouse. It is very fast and I am very happy with it.

Impressive performance for such a tiny computer. Frees up so much work space and performs flawlessly with easy set up.

The MAC mini is so easy to set up and it takes up very little space. I am enjoying the security the MAC provides and gave found it easy to use.

Using for a simple work from home setup, works well with my usb-c hub monitor. Feels overpowered for simple PDF editing and online multimedia. Setup was easy.
