Debated between Series 1 & Series 2. Ended up with Series 1 and I'm glad I did. Saved $100+ for basically the same watch. If you're okay without the waterproof and GPS feature then Series 1 will meet your needs.

I love this watch! It is helping me to be more fit and push me to move around more. Apps work quick and it charges quickly. I had a fitbit and returned it for this watch. Having an iPhone made this an easy switch.

This Watch is awesome. I wear it everyday everywhere, honestly it has been the best purchase I've made this year. Although it is pricey I think it is well worth, I got lucky because when I bought it I got $50 off.

I originally thought that I wouldn't be able to afford this kind of technology, but I got it as a gift from my family. Since I put it on, it has been indispensable in my day to day work. I am a salesman and travel so being able to have it notify me of upcoming turns on my GPS, being able to quickly and discreetly review email and text messages without having to dig my phone out of my pocket is a real boon. I can even take calls with reasonably good quality right from the watch. I would recommend this watch to anyone with a busy schedule that doesn't want to have to look at their phone all day. The only thing that would make this better is battery life. It needs to be recharged daily and has a magnetic charger that I need to pack.

Unless you are an extremely active person, an Apple Watch is likely unnecessary. I got it for the simple reason that I can view texts and phone calls for when I go on long walks with my dog. As I have the iPhone 6 Plus and it's massive I don't like having it in my hands in case my dog sees a squirrel and pulls unexpectedly causing me to drop it. This allows me to be hands free and keep up with any messages I am receiving. I can reply back by speaking into the microphone. It is worth noting that Siri on the Watch is substantially slower and much more error prone than Siri on my MacBook Pro and iPhone. It often mixes up words that are quite commonly used and do not sound remotely like the word it substitutes. Something I haven't experienced on the other Siri devices. I also frequently use the watch to log miles walked for Pokemon Go. Pokemon Go used to be quite unstable on the Apple Watch causing it to not log mileage but it seems to have been fixed after a recent patch.The heartbeat monitor seems to work well. f you like tech like I do and have some discretionary spending, it is likely the best smart watch on the market besides the Series 2 Apple Watch. It's pretty, looks premium, and the sport band is comfortable on the wrist but apart form heartbeat monitoring everything it can do so can your phone.

Got this instead of the Series 2 since I didn't need the GPS and waterproof. Apple says the series 2 has a brighter display but I think this screen is just fine. I have no problems with seeing the display in the sunlight. It's really fast and I don't notice any lag time. Definitely go with this option of the two if you don't need the GPS, waterproof and brighter display.

Love this watch...Many apps and watch faces...Color changes and it can take a beating. only downside is that it doesn't show you the face information unless its horizontal to the ground and after it goes out you have to flick your wrist side ways and back to horizontal to see it again. pretty annoying but you can press the button. cant even begin to say how useful this watch is from emails to texts to taking photos remote from your watch...The find your phone feature. Weather monitor, heart monitor, activity monitor, toooo much to list battery life goes all day for me with texting, email reading, activity monitoring and more I'm usually at 12% from 8am -10pm and I have a fat wrist and it still fits on the second hole. Great Watch

Purchased this watch for my daughter and she absolutely loves it. Comes in handy when your phone is in you're pocket or in you're purse.

This watch is easy to use, has great features, and is stylish to wear. It is easily customizable with the iPhone watch app and with tons of great accessories you can buy. I would highly recommend it.

This watch has a lot of useful options. It is not just a regular watch. You no longer have to be glued to your phone. All alerts come thru here. I highly recommend this watch to anyone who has an iphone.

I love my Apple Series 1 Watch! All the features took me a while to learn but it helped I had a sales rep with the same watch and he showed me some of the things it would do. I had a Fit Bit first and liked it but the battery would not hold a charge. No problems with this one at all! Love, love, love it!

I owned the Fitbit blaze for a year until I decided to look into the Apple watch. Although the Fitbit blaze is a great fitness watch, that is simply all you get. The Apple watch delivers information quickly and accurately. I like that I do not have to constantly open my phone to check a quick email, reply to a text, or answer a call. The other day I was in the middle of writing a paper and left my phone in my room. I received a phone call and was able to answer and multitask while I took the call through my watch. This watch is highly recommended for those of you who like to take a glance of your calendar, time, weather, and fitness totals for the day. I was hesitant to switch and I am now glad I did!

This is a nice accessory, as long as you're into exercising and serves as a way to keep you motivated. Other than the activity tracker and the watch faces, I haven't seen any other significant use. I bought the series 1 because I don't swim that much, and always carry my cell phone with me, so GPS is not a feature I believe to be worth $100+. I was looking to get a fitbit, but interaction and integration with my iphone makes it a better activity tracker! I'm training for a marathon and this definitely has kept me motivated... i've downloaded a few apps that help me track activities other than running as well... this helped change my lifestyle (I've already dropped 5 lbs, 10 more to go).

I purchased this as a gift for my girlfriend and she loves it. She uses it to track her fitness goals, and for the ease of sending a quick text when she's unable to use her phone at work. She loves it.
