This is a quality modem that does what it is meant to do. It is fast and it saves me a bundle since I don't have to rent a modem from my internet service provider. It was a pain to set up, but that is more the fault of my ISP than of the equipment.

Bought this to replace an older modem that was beginning to have intermittent performance issues. It was easy to set activate and is working like a charm. Why folks pay for cable modem leases is a mystery to me...

It is definitely better than the one that Time Warner gives you. You would have to have a better connection than I do to take full advantage of the bandwidth but it does out perform the stock one. If you live in city limits, you would probably see a noticeable difference.

I changed my previous modem with this and was surprised to see the speed has exactly doubled. I checked with many other modems and find this product as reliable and perfect for me.

It’s a champ! Set and forget and let it do all the work. Seems to handle everything that I need it for and the set up was simple... beats paying xfynity for their hardware.

Had trouble with my previous modem not connecting to my business internet. Switched to this one and havent had a problem since. Reliable brand.

ARRIS Surfboard cable modems are really good for home use.

Great modem to maximize speed. Even if you pay for the lower speeds from your cable provider this modem will ensure you constantly reach those speeds thanks to the 32 channels

It works. I was having problems with an older DOCSIS 2 modem working with COX. Upgraded to this and it works great.

This modem is fast and quiet. It is working great with our Netgear router. I haven't had any WiFi complaints from our 2 teens!

My old one went out on me so had to buy a different one. Thought I want to upgrade my speed so that's why I bought this. Sure did upgrade my speed 3x more than the old. Glad I bought this.

If you are tired of paying Comcast $10 a month for their modems, go buy this one. My overall home network is now more stable and this modem increased my download speeds by 5mbps.

Recently had to update my modem from the ARRIS 6183 to this 6190 model. Much better than paying Spectrum $10 a month since the original modem lasted more than 7 years. Working as it should be

So far speeds are as advertised -- about 250M downstream and 30-40 up using Xfinity. Taking off a star as it seems to freeze up on occasion and needs a reboot every other week... only one star off though as I have yet to have a cable modem that doesn't need that.

My home wifi was trouble: constant problems staying connected. So I bought a nighthawk router, still problems. Replaced TW modem with this modem. Worked immediately and no trouble since!

I buy a new one every couple of years. This is my fourth Arris cable modem. Much better and cheaper than the modems Comcast supplies for rent.

Bought to replace the one the cable company rents to you for $10 a month...running multiple items (gaming,hulu, etc...) with no issues.
