Great cable modem for Xfinity cable. Fast with great range

Needed a new Modem/Router as the one I had before hand was aging and was losing support in terms of software updates, and overall just needed something better to support the growing amount of devices I have at home. I've been with this this SURFboard for maybe only a few weeks at this point and I gotta say it's handling well. With just enough ethernet ports to support the only wired devices (two desktops) and a good handling of bandwidth for all the wireless stuff. My only gripe was that I had to call my service provider to activate, which is just an extra step in the process to the setup that kinda made me groan because I never had to do that before with any other unit I've had. Otherwise I can't complain too much. It's doing a fantastic job so far!

Great combination modem and router. Saves space from the old setup. Needed this to take advantage of the current internet speed. Easy setup and works great!

After trying to connect this unit to my Xfinity service, I ended up first calling Xfinity for help (they had messed up my service due to a move) and then calling Arris because the Xfinity tech messed up the setup by not following Arris instructions. HOWEVER, Arris totally fixed the Xfinity oopsie and got me up and running. I bought this modem/wifi to replace an older one that no longer worked with Xfinity. I am pleased. Connectivity is faster and the thinking dots are now minimal rather than constant. Arris tech service was really patient and qualified, identifying the problem and fixing it.

Difficult to set up ring cameras, everything else setup ok. Yellow light blinking on back, suppose to be green but still works.

I thought this combo modem for my college student. Easy to connect once we realized we needed to buy an Ethernet cable not included. We do get to FaceTime however he has to go outside to make a call? No connection inside his place? We’re told it’s a dead spot? Anyhow he can game and use internet with no issues. Thats my reason for 4 stars

2 in 1 already. Had difficulty setting up at first because this is a newer model but works perfect eventually.

Was hoping I would get more range based on the pictures and reviews I saw. But it's about what my last Arris Surfboard was able to put out. Set up with Xfinity was a pain in the behind, but that was on Xfinity support not the Arris team.

I'd been looking to replace the gateway that Xfinity provides and this was my first attempt. The setup and activation was very easy using the Xfinity app but the performance left a lot to be desired. The Xfinity gateway provides acceptable download and upload speeds as far as I can tell, although I never tested thoroughly. However, switching over to the G20 immediately provided degraded quality. My PS5, which is at the far edge of my basement, was only getting a good signal while it would get a full signal using Xfinity's gateway. Also, the G20 was causing noticeable buffering while using my AppleTV in the same location as the PS5, which was not happening on the Xfinity's gateway. I ended up returning the G20 promptly.

This router is fast and works with Comcast Xfinity as a plug and play. No problems to report.

This Modem & Router Combo replaced my old one. It was easy to set up and is working well. Not getting dropped from my work remote anymore is a huge bonus.

My new SURFboard has improved my service. It replaced my old SURFboard unit so I am very pleased with this new modem/router combo.

Set-up new modem went well with Xfinity app. Set-up was easy with Arris App. Super fast and works well with a variety of devices. Best combo modem/router I've every owned.
