Finally a modem that does what it states in the product description. It works it is fast and so far very reliable.

Beats the pants off the modem the cable company gives/sells/rents to you. So many of the modems provided by my cable company have to be reset weekly/daily/hourly to work properly. This modem worked from the second it synced up and I've not had issues with it yet. I've had it for a few months, too.

Finally replacing unsupported older Arris model. This new unit was pretty plug and play. No issues. Was hoping to get my full advertised 900Mbps speed and connecting directly to the modem I do. I discovered my router is the bottleneck. This is not a knock on the modem at all, just a warning that all devices need to support higher ISP speeds. The modem so far has been working great and the first step to better speeds.

Fast and runs much, much cooler than the SB8200. Must buy for any Gigablast cable speeds.

I was looking for a modem only product to work with my already owned Wifi Mesh system. The Arris has performed very well so far. Comcast made the setup more difficult than it should be (I tried the app first, did not activate, then I had to call in for a normal '"Comcast Technical Support" experience. In Bestbuy, I was told that this unit had 2 ethernet ports. While true, it appears I would need to have 2 different accounts to use the second one. Had the sales rep known this, I would have bought a different unit.

Works well and saves money from renting one from the provider.

It's a 3.1 Docsis Cable Modem, It does what a 3.1 Docis cable modem is suppose to do. It has two ethernet ports and depending on your ISP can get two different IP Address one for Each Port. One is a 2.5 GB Port and the other is a 1 GB port. This is not a modem / router combo which is perfect for Me. I have mine connected to a multi wan router as I have a fallback ISP because I work from home and try to minimize downtime.

have not had any issues with it. No drops, speed very steady. Very happy wit the purchase.

Works great. Compatible with Xfinity. Once they make the changeover, uploads speeds will be even faster.

Great modem! Works well with ASUS Ax5400 router and very easy to set up. If you want something future proof this is your best bet.

Arris Cable modems are the modems of choice in my house. This new one is working great! The setup only took minutes and the only reason I am replacing my old Arris modem is because my provider upped my internet speed beyond what the old modem could accommodate.

Excellent upgrade over my 6190 Arris - really like the 2.5GPS port. And paired with ASUS router. they are a very strong combination.

works perfect! connected easy and was just what I wanted. I didnt want to pay a monthly fee for a modem and this did the job.

Upgraded from an Arris docsis 3.0, which should be capable of 1000Mbps, but was only getting in the 600s on a Gigabit plan. After activating this modem, speed tests were immediately hitting the 980s. The lighting on this modem is much more pleasant than the previous arris, which could have doubled as a lighthouse beacon.

Best modem I have used. Being a gamer you need something great. This little modem is working fast no lag, no freeze, no nothing. Will be buying more of this brand for all my properties.

So far so Good ! I upgraded my plan with my ISP and got this to take advantage of the DoCSIS 3.1 support without paying a rental fee to my ISP for an inferior product. The 2.5 GBP port is greater "future proofing" as faster speeds become available and prices get cheaper. ARRIS has a great reputation for building solid modems and this router so far seems just as good as my prior one that lasted me for 6 years ! The new Design takes some getting used to but still sits nicely on my networking shelf !

This thing gets hot and stays hot. I don't know if that affects speed but it always slows down after a short while. Also, it does not broadcast a wifi signal. You will need a separate device for that. This device is not impressive but it should be for the price. My Netgear modem/router is cheaper, faster and has dual band wifi.
