It is an excellent modem despite how small it is and its lack of features on the app, but the modem is incredible and does what it suppose to. No drop; you get above on beyond on your speed connecting wifi. Easy to set up for sure.

I bough ARRIS SURFboard S32 as a replacement for my ARRIS SB6183. Both modem are excellent and requires a just a phone call to infinity to get it registered.

Modem works better than my Netgear Nighthawk CM1200, and it’s cheaper and future proof as well. No-brainer imo!

Works great! I turned in the one that the cable company was renting to me and got this set up. It's smaller and takes up less space and does the job perfectly.

    Unreliable Modem, Terrible Support

I purchased the Arris Surfboard S33, and it has been a nightmare. The modem disconnects 2-3 times a day, leaving all devices in my home without internet for about 2 minutes each time. This is especially frustrating as I work from home, and I've had important calls dropped because of these constant disconnections. To make matters worse, Best Buy refuses to accept a return even though the modem is under warranty until September 2025. They advised me to contact Arris Surfboard directly. Unfortunately, Arris customer service is only available Monday through Friday ( when I am working ). One day when I finally got through, they insisted on troubleshooting the device, which would take more than two hours, before even considering a replacement. The modem’s light turns orange/red, then blinks, and eventually returns to dark green – a clear indication of a modem issue. Even an Xfinity technician confirmed that the cable line is fine and the modem is at fault. I’m extremely disappointed with both the product and the service ( and Best Buy as well). I’ll never purchase an Arris Surfboard product or buy electronics from Best Buy again. This has been a $200 waste of money.

Mine only lasted 8 months. Would frequently have to reboot it as it would freeze, would notice it ran warmer than I would have liked. Yesterday it quit completely and will no longer connect to my ISP even after unplugging for several hours to cool. Measured temp at the top of the unit was almost 175 degrees. Hopefully they at least warranty it without issue, as with those temps it is becoming a fire hazard.

    Great Upgrade From SB6141

I was only able to hit 250/20 on my 10 year old SB6141, this was a great upgrade to take better advantage of the increased allowance of bandwidth Comcast is so graciously delivering unto the peasants in exchange for their economic penance. Paired this with a Ubiquity UDM-SE and I'm getting about 850/30 now for $83/mo.

Remember this is a modem it does not provide wifi. Buy a router for that. Plug in, contact ISP, and you now have internet.

Very good unit.. Not sure about the cost but so far this is my third Arris modem over a few years.. I don't kno about long-term usage tho.. And Arris wouldn't offer me anything but paying more for warranty and phone support
